"I'm sorry that it happened. I'll always be here for you if you need anything, okay? I won't tell anyone about what happened since you obviously don't want to tell anyone. It will all be okay, I promise." Jade gave him a genuine smile before nodding slowly.

Well, that's one thing off her chest.

It's now Monday morning. Sunday was just a lazy day for everyone, they basically just stayed at Jade's house and watched movies together. Now, she's walking from the school parking lot to the school. The weather was chilly, not as warm as it usually was so she was wearing her leather jacket over a plain black t-shirt with regular blue jeans on.

As Jade walked on the sidewalk, a certain group caught her eye. They were in a large circle, all of them wearing preppy clothes, they were laughing at something as they looked down on the ground. Her curiosity got the best of her, so she started towards them. Taking long strides as she walked.

Jade finally reached the group of people, instantly she recognized one of the male's standing in the group. Ethan Grey, one of the popular kids in the school, he was more of a nerd than a jock but he was built like a jock. He played sports but his academics were more important to him. He's what everyone calls the, "Golden Boy," because he's like every teenage boy in the cliché romantic movies. He has baby blue eyes, dirty blonde hair and that player boy attitude.

Once Jade reached the circle, she immediately pushed two of the guys blocking me, out of the way. In the corner of her eye she could see both of them glaring at her, that's okay. Jade gasped at the sight in front of her.

There was a smaller teenager laying on the ground, bruises evident on his skin. His mouth had blood oozing out of it along with his nose. Jade walked closer to him and knelt down. Easily getting a closer look at the boy, the bruises were black, blue and had small spots of green. The blood that was oozing from his mouth, pooled on the ground, becoming drier by the second. Jade gently placed her index finger and middle finger onto his neck, checking for a hint of life. "Jade, leave the boy alone, he's fine." Ethan's voice made Jade snap her head up and glare at him. Without a word, she continued checking on the boy. His pulse was there but it wasn't strong, he was obviously knocked out since he didn't move when she touched him.

"Jade, I said to leave him alone!" Ethan yelled but this time, Jade stood up and straightened her posture.

"Did you do this? Did you hurt this poor boy? What did he do to you to deserve this?" Jade's voice started getting louder by the second causing a group of people to come and watch. Ethan smirked, "Maybe I did. What are you going to do about it?" He asked. She sighed and started to walk towards him.

"Ethan, Ethan, Ethan. You should know better to not mess around with someone who could easily hurt you." Ethan laughed, loudly causing everyone else to laugh. "Try me, sweetie." He challenged. Jade sighed, then took a step back, towards the boy on the ground. She smiled at Ethan, tauntingly before kneeling beside the boy again. Ethan just laughed, quite loudly too. "Too scared to fight me, sweetie?" He asked, she slowly shook her head, standing up and charging at Ethan. Before he could respond to her actions, she grabbed the collar of his Polo t-shirt and rammed him into the nearby tree.

It went dead quiet, everyone was watching them as she held Ethan against the tree. "Now listen here, you little shit. I don't know who you think you are by beating up this poor kid but you better listen to me when I say this. Don't you ever, ever touch this boy again or else I swear to God that I will beat the life out of you. Do I make myself clear?" Jade stated, venomously. He smirked and chuckled slightly.
