Jaelyn's POV
Today is my sister, Vera's thirtieth birthday and I am working from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon. My little sister, Camille and her four co-hosts are premiering their talk show, The Morning Chat on Monday that starts at nine o'clock in the morning on FOX5. They changed the name of the show because it sounds a lot similar to The Real and it is a show that is scheduled on weekdays.
I check for updates on Nicole Mckoy's novels on Wattpad, but they haven't been updated since a month ago. The only solution for that is to investigate the issue. My finger taps on the 'Conversations' tab to find users interrogating when will Nicole come back to Wattpad and update her stories when I find the answer. The detractors complained that the scene Nicole wrote in one of her stories, 'His Only Woman,' offends some of the complainers because of the sexual assault on one of her characters. And they're complaining about a serious topic to discuss? Tsk! Nicole is an author writing fiction stories with serious topics. Stories are supposed to sound real! Just like the box in the Progressive commercial, 'critics are gonna nag!' Well, I'm gonna nag to you, haters! My fingers pick up the speed on the keypad of the computer and read my words with my eyes with an article titled 'Don't Diss the Author, Diss yourself.'
'I find it very nettlesome when critics judge the merits of creative literature and trying to prevent the author from updating their stories for their audience. Nicole Mckoy's stories are a crowd-pleaser and there are blind accusers scathing her intriguing work as an author. I am on the commenter's on Wattpad's side; defending Nicole, her fans, and her work. Real aficionados don't let our favorite authors of authors to go down in defeat. I don't know if the negative people are either hating, jealous, blind, or desperately stupid because in this article of mine; I will support Nicole's opinion in and out of Wattpad. She is publishing her novels on websites, like; Amazon, Smashwords, iTunes, Barnes and Noble, and Goodreads. Keep on writing, Nicole. We will never disrespect the gift God gives you because writing is a blessing in your talent. We all have a blessing talent or talents from God to do what we love. To all the book-shamers; authors can be successfully discovered on Wattpad whether it's an expert or a beginner. We will give you the round of applause because real fans will commend your novels and teach these arrogant suckers a lesson; don't diss the author; diss yourself, fool! Because arrogant and dubious people are non compos mentis when Nicole is actually a remarkable author, who only claps back to harsh commenter's. She is a kind author. And yet, you belittle for her to update her stories when she will update her books as soon as possible. Just because an author hasn't update in a while doesn't not necessarily mean you have the power to lash out at the author and it also does not mean that he/she are quitting writing. We are humans, for goodness sake! Our lives are not in the internet playground. Enough with the book slamming and keep your naggity-nag mouth zipped, you writer-harrassing nitwits and allow Nicole to rejuvenate in updating her stories sooner or later. If you refuse to leave her, her followers, and/or her stories alone, please take you and your mouth somewhere else! I love her books when I first read, 'That One Night,' when I was twenty two years old. We will have patience for you to return writing and we love you and your books, girl.' I type.
**************
After work, Trisha and I are on our way to meet Kendra, Violet, Cousin Michelle, Vera, Patrick, and our family friends; Rhiannon and her three kids; twenty one and a half year old daughter Riley Blu, twelve year old Ramona, and three year old Donovan at the mall. They are visiting from Los Angeles until Sunday morning because she and the members of Royale are making their biopic on VH1, MTV, and BET channels. Kandi and Chris are watching Vera and Patrick's kids at their residence while they're taking care of Javier.
"Jaelyn, thank you so much for coming along with me and Patrick and inviting Rhiannon and her kids!" Vera says.
"Oh, my gosh! You're welcome, Vera. It's your birthday after all." I agree. We enter the second floor by using the escalator. "This mall reminds of the time I stole $440.50 worth of MAC Cosmetics when I was twelve years old." Rhiannon mentions.
