Chapter 11

Violet's P.O.V

Soon we arrived at the swimming centre, it is HUUUGE! I parked next to the boys car which they were all standing around.

"Let's sneak up on them and scare them" I whispered eviley. MUAHAHAHAH *cough* sorry

We got out of our car like ninjas and sneaked behind them. I lifted my hand and counted. 3...2...1! We pounced on top of them and I swear Liam pooped himself.

"GUYS DON'T DO THAT!" zayn said huffing.

"haha we got you!" I said and high-fived Rose.

"Can we just go in already?" Harry asked slightly angry.

"Sure!" Rose said and took my hand. I skipped with rose up to the paying desk. I was about to get out my purse but Niall stopped me.

"I'll pay" he said seriously.

"No niall its ok I can pay" I said and continued to get my purse.

"Seriously, it would be my honor" he said bowing down. I laughed so hard I swear my insides exploded. The other four boys just looked at us like 'Da hell you doin' but I didn't care.

I took Rose to the change rooms and hot both of us dressed. We waited for the boys then we set our stuff down.

"I WANNA GO ON THAT!" Rose shouted pointing to the massive slide.

"I'll go on with her" Liam said, taking Rose's hand and walking off. By that time the rest of the boys walked off somewhere. I walked to the side of the pool and looked down. Agghhhh man I hate water.

I walked to the shallow end and stepped in, I don't want to go in too deep, if you haven't figured out yet, I hate water, I was never taught how to swim so I only go in real shallow water.

"Hey Violet!" Zayn said running towards me.

"Hey Zayn, arn't you going to go hang out with the others?" I said pointing at the direction they were in.

"Well they are going into the deep end and I hate water so I thought I'd hang with you, if you don't mind that is" he explaned.

"Sure! You know what, between you and me, I can't swim either" I whispered.

"Cool!" Zayn said.

We sat together in the shallow water just relaxing.

"So Violet, why do you hate water?" Zayn asked curiously. Oh god oh god oh god I was hoping this wouldn't happen.

"Well, it's a long story" I said.

"I'm a good listener" He said smiling slightly. Ok here it goes...

"Well, it was a long time ago, when Rose was only very little. My dad, mum , rose and I were at the mall, earlier that day it was really stormy but we ignored it. So we were walking along and well we herd a very loud bang and screaming. We looked down and saw that water was flooding in and-" I said tears flowing from my eyes.

"Its ok, I don't need to hear anymore" he said hugging me and rubbing my back.

"Thanks Zayn" I said hugging back.

All I have is this necklace, my parents gave me when I was little. It is shaped as a key and it says "Our #1 singer" imbedded in it.

I miss them...
