Chapter 37

Violet's P.O.V

"Niall.. I need to tell you something" I wrote twiddling my fingers together.

"When you saved me from getting hit, I hit my head and that caused my muteness.." I wrote, tears dripping onto the page.

"Oh god vi.. I'm sooo sorry!" he said hugging me tight.

"I didn't want to tell you because I thought it would upset you and I guess I was right" I wrote then wiped the tears off his cheeks.

"I'm sorry for everything" he said and I hugged him tight.

"It's ok, you know what, being mute is the best thing that has happened in my life. Cause I get to be around you and the others." I wrote smiling and he slightly smiled back.

I turned around and picked up the familiar book into my hands. I turned back around and placed it into his lap.

"I can help you if you like" I wrote crossing my legs and sitting next to him.

"I would like that" he said smiling.

"I just, I wish I could give you back your voice somehow.." he said looking at his hands. I sighed, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"It's ok, it was my fault for going out that night, trust me" I wrote trying to make him feel better.

"No no no this is how you do it" I wrote showing him the sign.

"Oh ok" he smiled.

"How are you today?" I signed (we're practicing)

"Very good thank you" he signed back.

I clapped my hands and fist pumped in success.

All that day we went through that book, it was ten now and I was half asleep, but Niall was still reading.

"Go to sleep" I signed, hoping he knew what I said.

"No" he said and went back to reading.

I sneakily crawled up next to him and pounced onto him.

"Hey c'mon no fair" he said and made a baby face, I just laughed.

I laid there on top of him playing with his hair.

"Vi, I need to tell you something" he said looking into my eyes.

"Yeah?" I signed confused.

"I have liked you for a long time now"
