Chapter 28

Violet's P.O.V

I woke up from the sound of trucks driving and birds chirping next to my window. Great, another day of being alone. Rose has school today do I need to drop her off.

"Rose! Get ready for school" I signed

"Ok" I herd her say walking out of her room.

"Hey boy!" I signed and picked him up, he licked all over my face excitedly, yuck doggy germs.

"I'm ready!" Rose shouted from downstairs.

I jogged to the kitchen and gave her her lunch. We hopped into my car and drove her to school.

"See ya violet!" she said climbing out of the car.

"Be good" I signed and she waved goodbye.

I drove back home and parked in the driveway, I sat back in my seat, thinking about my life. I was then snapped back into reality by Boka barking at the front door.

I turned the knob of the door and Boka playfully jumped around me.

I threw my keys onto the table and took my jacket off. Right before I was about to go upstairs Boka started barking really loudly.

Curious to why he was barking I walked into the lounge room, I saw that he was barking at the tv, rose mustn't have turned it off.

Then I knew what Boka was barking at, the boys were on tv. I sat down interested in what the interviewers were talking about.

"So, we have seen you walking around with a girl, could you tell us more about her?" the lady said, now I'm really curious.

"She's just a girl we met after a concert" Niall said, w-what? What do they mean by that?!

What was I to them? Were they only hanging out with me cause they felt bad about my vocal chords?

I knew this was too good to be true!

I looked at my bracelet that was a gift from them and chucked it at the wall, I can't believe this.

Maybe I was just overacting, maybe they didn't want to blurt it out to the world that they had a friend that can't talk, but it seemed pretty legit that I wasn't a friend at all.

I saw Boka whimpering and hugging my leg, I gave him a big hug and poured him some dog food. I calmed myself down and went to my room. I picked up my guitar and started to play a tune.

Boka came running in and sat next to my legs, then started to howl along with my strumming.

I can't believe you..
