Chapter 38

Violet's P.O.V

H-he likes me? Wow I didn't think he would like me back..

"Really?" I shakily signed.

"Yeah" he said with a slight smile.

I pounced onto him for the second time and hugged him for my life, I felt his arms wrap around my waist and hug me back.

We laid there for about 5 minutes.

"Do you like me back?" he said, I could see hope in his eyes.

"Yes" I signed and we hugged again.

"Favorite movie?" he asked looking at me.

"Red Dog" I answered.

"Favorite food?" He asked and pulled me onto his lap.

"I don't have any" I answered with a shrug.

"Ok, Ask me some" he said and I smiled.

"Favorite song?" I asked curious.

"We're never getting back together" he said laughing.

"I don't know what else to ask" I signed truthfully.

"Ok, What flavor ice-cream is your favorite?" he asked.

"Caramel" I signed.

All afternoon we were just hanging out, getting to know each other better.

It's fun hanging out with him, just the both of us.

"We are all leaving tomorrow apparently" he said checking his phone.

"Oh and Lou just texted me saying rose is fine" he said. Phew.

"Hey vi" he said now looking straight at me.

"Why haven't we met your parents yet?" he asked.

At that point I completely froze at the question, I-I don't know how to tell him.

"Well they are dead" I sadly and shakily signed.

We sat there in silence, it was awkward.

"I'm sorry" he said, breaking the silence.

"No no it's ok" I said with a reassuring smile.

He knows..
