Oh the bell. It's a great thing, that school bell. Do you know why it's a great bell? Well for starters,
1. I makes an excruciating number of high pitched dings
2. It's basically writing your ticket to the principals office
3. That's it-but that's enough to get on my bad side
We walked into class just as the bell went off.
"Go get a pass Ms. Anderson and Mr..... Oh! I don't think I've met you before!" Said Mr. Bronze.
"Well I don't think you'd know a new student would you?" I said sarcastically. I knew I shouldn't have. But I couldn't resist.
"Keep talking like that and you can stay in the office missy!" He replied, and then turned back to the guy I came in with.
"I'm Sam." He said. Oh right, his name. I forgot to ask about that.
"Ok. Both of you to the office for passes please."
We both spun around and walked off.

It started to become awkward. You know how it is. Total stranger that you are forced to socialize with and you both have no idea what to say. Well, I did my best.
"So.... Sam huh?" I asked.
Great job self. Real entertaining topic.
"Uh, yeah. Sam it is. What's yours?"
"Abby."
"Short for....?"
"Short for none of your business." I snapped.
"Ok, ok geez. You're a real ball of sunshine you know that?"
"Well you don't have to talk to me." I replied.
"You're the one who started the conversation remember?"
Shoot, he got me there.
"Yeah," I mumbled. "You're right." I was kind of pissed off at this point. Usually people don't talk to me, and even when they do, it's lasts about two seconds (or until they realize how rude I am.)
"Come on, lighten up. You're a real downer and it's killing my mood. I was so happy with the way the day was going already." His face was totally serious and I couldn't help but give a slight laugh. I can't hold in laughs when it comes to sarcasm.
After I got myself together again, I went back to my serious mood- AKA my normal mood.
"The office is this way." I said.
That was the end of the conversation.
