There's Always Second Chances

•Chapter 1•

"Macy! Could you come down please I need to talk to you."
"Coming!" I yelled from my room. I ran downstairs to see my mom standing at the island in our kitchen with a look excitement yet worry.
"Hey mom what's up...?" I asked suspiciously.

"Well" she started "I recently got a promotion and-" I cut her off before she could finish.

"Mom that's great I'm so happy for you!"

"You didn't let me finish" she started once more. Oh great there's the worried look again. "It's in StillWater Minnesota."

"Ok...I don't see what you're getting at here mom." She sighed and took a deep breath.

"Macy it means that we have to move to StillWater." She can't be serious.

"What! But Mom! I mean don't get me wrong I'm extremely happy for you but I don't want to move! What about my friends and school!"

"You can make new friends and StillWater is beautiful you'll love it there!"

"I guess I have no choice do I?"

"No not really..."

"Ok. So when do we leave" I asked looking down at my phone seeing that I had a new Twitter follower. I'll check that later.

"Not until summer break I want you to be able to finish the school year with your friends and I want you to be able to start at your new school at the beginning of the year so it won't be as hard ok?"

"Yeah ok. I'm just going to go upstairs and do my homework." As I got up from the chair my mom started walking towards me.

"Alright dinner will be done in about an hour. I love you." She kissed my head. I responded with a love you too and headed up stairs.

I wasn't really going up stairs to do homework I actually came up here so that I could finish editing some pictures I took and looking through the ones I took today on my camera. My camera is like my life it comes everywhere with me. After getting a good amount of work done I glanced at the clock and realized I should probably go to bed, it was Friday but I felt pretty tired.

I layed in bed and went on Twitter. I had one new follower, @TaylorXLuke cool she went to ROWYSO St.Paul!(point for you if you know what that is😂)

I checked my other notifications on instagram and snapchat until I started to fall asleep so I plugged in my phone and went to bed.

The next morning when I woke up I had a DM from the girl that followed me last night it said "Where are your seats for SLFL?" I then responded and told her where they were as well as asking her the repeated question. After about 45 minutes I didn't even realize that we had been talking this long but we never ran out of things to talk about! I learned that her names Taylor and we're into a lot of the same things except for cold pizza...I also learned she's from Minnesota too which is so cool! At about 5:30 later on that day I went to go eat so I told Taylor I had to go but I would talk to her later.

I messaged her when I was done and we carried on with the usual conversation of "what's up?" And "not much" until she asked where are you from? So I told her I was from northern Minnesota and she told me she was from southern Minnesota which sucked because we lived almost 5 hours away from each other.

The next day I went shopping with my mom for new furniture for our new house in StillWater that was going to be shipped down there later this month. We found some great stuff but I'm exhausted which means it's time for funny 5SOS videos and naps!
