•Jonah•
We pulled into Dairy Queen and I bought our ice cream. Handing the ice cream to Macy I began to pull out and start driving towards where I was taking her.

I pulled up to the end of the bridge and parked the car. We made our way out and we started walking as we were walking I suddenly had the courage to grab Macy's hand and I don't know what I was doing suddenly my heart was just taking over and it wouldn't let my brain butt in.  I felt her tense and instantly started to regret it, but then she relaxed and laced our fingers together as we kept walking. I turned to her and smiled and she blushed looking down at our feet. We reached the end of the bridge when we came to edge of the woods.

"Jonah you want me to just walk through the woods with you in the dark when I can't see anything? What if we get lost or there's a bear or something." She lectured me with one hand on her hip the other being tugged by me into the woods.

"Macy, it's fine I promise I got you." I squeezed her hand and pulled her in. She smiled in reply and held on to my arm with her free hand. We kept walking until we reached an open spot. It was a view of the river where you could see all of the buildings lit up on the other side and when you look up all the stars.

"Jonah this is beautiful!" She smiled up at me. But it's not as beautiful as her and her god damn smile.

I held her hand tighter because at this point i didn't want to try anything and ruin the moment. "I thought you deserved to see this, I come here just to think and chill out sometimes when everything gets too much."

"I'm so glad you showed me this I love it!" She hugged me. We stayed like that for a while and just looked at the river until we decided to sit down and Macy was snuggled into my side and it was perfect.

"Um Jonah I think I should tell you something." Macy dragged on as she played with our intertwined fingers.

"Ok what is it?" I asked.

"I um I like someone." Oh my gosh is it me? Is she talking about me! No no I can't like her I have a promise and I have to keep it.

"Ok and?" I asked again telling her to go on.

"I just don't know what to do because I don't think he likes me like I like him I think he's only trying to make me feel better about myself like he's leading me on or something." She then looked up at me and I could've sworn I saw a tear."I don't want it to happen again Jonah please." By now she was crying for sure so I pulled her closer and layed her head on my chest. I didn't know for sure who she was talking about apart of me wanted it to be about me but another part of me knew that it probably wasn't and that it would be a bad idea.

"I'll always be here. Always. I promise." I said rubbing her back and placing a kiss on the top of her head. What the hell am I doing. No. What the hell is this girl doing to me. I think I like her a lot. Who am I kidding I'm falling for her and I'm falling fast.

"Hey how about we go back to my house or yours, your choice and actually go watch a movie this time?" I smiled down at her.

"Yeah let's go to my house I don't want everybody else to see me like this."

"Ok let's go." I kissed her forehead and pulled her up. Then I had an idea so I crouched down and motioned for her to jump on my back.

"Jonah I can't do that you can't carry me." She argued.

"I don't care get on my back beautiful."

"I don't know..."

"Macy I can do it I promise. I don't break my promises." Although I think I've already broken one.

"Fine." She jumped on back and wrapped her arms around my neck. As we walked across the bridge I spun in circles making her laugh and pretended to drop which she yelled at me for but I kinda deserved it.

We got to her house and she went upstairs to change as I picked out and put in a movie. I picked Peter Pan because why not! She came
downstairs in these pyjama shorts with macaroons on them and a t shirt with her hair in a bun and glasses on, and it made me realize that I've just broken my promise to myself. I like Macy. I like her and I'm going to give this thing a second chance I guess Esther was right. But I'm not telling her that part.

We layed down on the couch and I pulled her close to me putting the throw blanket over us. Halfway through the movie Macy began to fall asleep. She's so damn adorable. I kissed her forehead and whispered "goodnight beautiful." Pulling her as close to me as I could and holding her tight.
