I wake up with this strange feeling of happiness. I feel a strange draft of wind overcome my body. I open my eyes wider see the glass sliding door is open. I slowly get up from the couch, walking over Tamsyn and Neriman who are lying on the floor. I shut the door and walk to the kitchen. I pour myself ice water and drink it as I walk to my room. I reach to my Blackberry. Oh gosh, its 3pm already and surprisingly I have 7 missed calls, from an unknown number. I throw myself onto my bed and take deep breaths. Wow, last night was a blast. We went a tad over the top but good none the less. Arg, it’s been more than a week and oddly, I can’t seem to get that weirdo, from the beach out of my head, that sweet smile even if he doesn’t seem very sweet at all. I keep trying to figure out why his own lover is afraid of him. Those eyes seemed so harmless but they clearly good at deceit. It always surprises me how well we don’t know people and the way we choose to miss the obvious signs of weird and deceit that often accompanies people. We always fail to see who they really are because we ignore that side of them. I believe that people are not blind to them, but choose to ignore them, because sometimes facing the truth is horrific. The human mind is a wonder and I can't grasp why someone would stay with someone they truly scared of. I inhale and exhale as try to understand. Why does she stay with him? Would I stay, Even if all of my beliefs are against abuse? Would I stay? Why do people always say love makes you stay and love makes you endure, how is that even possible when you in love with someone abusive? My phone goes off. I gaze over to it and see it’s an unknown number again. I answer.

“Hello.” I say
“Good day Miss James.”
Oh fuck, it’s him. His British accent pierces through the phone. How did he get my number? Gosh, why is he calling me?
“Oh… Good day, Mr Winchester.” I mumble like a shy little girl.
“Good, you still remember me.”
Oh, well it’s sort of hard to forget you.
“What do I owe the pleasure to?” I ask.
“I wanted to know if you would come to my party tonight?”
“Is your girlfriend aware of you inviting my friends and me?”
“I would prefer if it were just you.”
“Well, my friends and I will consider attending, just text me the address and details and I’ll run it by them.”
“I would really like it if you came, so that we can talk.”
“I would love to get to know Mandy and yourself, you seem quite interesting.”
“Well, Mandy won’t be in attendance.”
“Is that why you inviting me?”
“No, I just want to get to know you and your friends are very welcome.”
“I’ll consider it, I have plans too.”
“Well, for once just go out of your comfort zone and explore a night with me and my friends, don’t you think it will be more interesting and different?”
“I believe it to be, but I have to consider my friends too in my decision.”
“Well then, come alone.”
“I thought I made it apparent that I don’t trust you.”
“Indeed you have. Please consider my invitation.”
“I will Mr. Winchester.”
“Thank you and please let me know.”
“Well text me the info and I’ll run it by my friends and then I’ll let you know.”
“Well, tell them it will be better than any other party.”
“We not big on parties but I’ll consider it.”
“It’s not a huge party it’s just a few friends getting to know each other better with booze and snacks.”
“Oh, well that sounds interesting but like I said I have to ask my friends.”
“I’m not taking no for an answer Miss James.”
“I’m noticing.”
“I always get my way Miss James.”
“Well, not today. I have to go now.”
“I’ll text you the details.”
“Okay, bye.”

Gosh, can you believe that guy? “I always get my way Miss James.” What the fudge is up with that? Weirdo alert! Somehow I want to go to his party. Gosh, his so different it’s exciting, now all I need to do is convince Asheeka. Neriman and Tamsyn are always down for a get together with some boys

“What time is it?” a soft voice asks as it comes closer toward me.
“Its three fifteen, Tamsyn.” I reply.
“I need to shower.”
“The towels are in the cupboard in the passage.”
“Cool.”
