The Bitter-sweet Revenge (On-going)

Chapter 4

"So that's why you recorded them so you could use that as your revenge?" Tanong niya.

"It's not revenge sweetie. It's called playing and having fun. Masyadong bitter ang salitang revenge and I'm not planning to have one."

Alam kong parang naghihiganti ako pero para sa'kin hindi ito isang paghihiganti. Nakikipaglaro lang ako. When I was in States, I thought of the possibilites tahat might happen when I get back here. Isa na dun ang pagtatagpo ng aming mga landas. Obviously pag ganito ang sitwasyon, malaking change ang magkabalikan kami which I think is really gross. Nakakasuka isipin. My life is almost just the same by some revenge stories that most of us have read and most of them have happy endings which I totally don't want to happen in my life. Once is enough. Ayoko nang bumalik pa at maranasan ang pagmamahal sa kanya.

So ang gagawin ko nalang is go with the flow ni tadhana but I'm doing this my style. Kung yung ibang fictional characters ay masyadong focus sa paghihiganti which is nakakabitter, pwes, I'm soooooooo way different from them. Trust me, I'm one of a kind.

"Hindi ba parang revenge pa rin ang tawag dyan?" I looked at Natalie when she asked me the most obvious question.

"Again Nat, this isn't a revenge. I'm just having fun, that's why. Alam kong pipilitin ng pesteng tadhana na magkrus ulit ang landas namin and I glady accept that but I'm tired of being the one who'll keep on letting destiny do it's way. This time, I'm doing it my way." I said confidently. Ngumiti naman siya at tumango tango.

"Fine, fine. I understand. Sige na Catherine, mag-aayos pa ako ng mga gamit ko. Magkakalat muna ako dito." Natatawang sabi ni Natalie.

"Okay! Ciao!" Pamamaalam ko as I left the room and decide to sleep beside Simon and have my beauty rest.

When I woke up, I immediately made my way to Simon's bathroom and did my thing. Bumaba naman ako para magtambay sa sala namin only to find Natalie, Simon and Sam talking. Hindi man lang nila ako napansin noh? At dahil sa nagutom ako ay pumunta agad ako sa dining room para kumain nang biglang nagsalita si mommy na kakapasok lang sa dining room.

"Bakit late kang gumising?" Tanong niya. I looked at her and gave her my sweetest smile.

"Queens are never late mommy." Umupo naman si mommy sa tabi ko at naghair flip.

"Don't forget that you're just a Princess and I'm the Queen." Maarteng pahayag ni mommy na agad naman naming ikinatawa.

"Mukhang nagkakasiyahan ata ang mag-ina ko ngayon ah?" Agad kaming napatingin kay daddy na ubod ng gwapo.

"Well why don't you join us Mahal na Hari." Mommy said as dad kissed her in the lips. Mukhang lalamgamin ako nito ah. Sabay naman kaming kumain and we had so many conversations to the point na hindi na namin namalayang we spent more than an hour in the dining room.

"How's the company dad?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Well everythings fine sweetie. In fact, nagiging number na ang negosyo natin everywhere!" Masayang sagot niya. I smiled at his gesture as we continued to talk about business nang bigla akong tinanong ni mommy.

"Anak, ikaw? How are you in the States?" Mahinhin niyang tanong. I know where this is going.

"I'm fine mom. Everything changed in my life and I'm happy to say that the old Catherine Mae Perez was completely trashed a long time ago and a new Catherine Mae Perez is here. In fact, I'm a grown up and fine lady now. I can handle myself." Sabi ko with a reassuring smile.

"Have you seen him already?" Tanong ni daddy sa'kin. I looked at him and nodded without saying anything but with a smile.

"What did you feel?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni mommy.

"Nothing. I felt nothing mom. Everything has changed and I'm the one who has change A LOT now." Sabi ko. A moment of silence then changed the happy atmosphere when I decided to excuse myself.

Alam kong hindi pa nila nakakalimutan ang lahat ng nangyari noon pero what can I do? Past is past and nothing can erase it. Hindi ko naman sila masisisi kung ba't worried na worried sila sa'kin since it was completely my fault before and I whole heartedly embrace the consequences which leads me to a new me.

Nakalipas ang ilang araw nang matapos ang pagpapagawa ko ng bagong desenyo sa kwarto ko. I was really amazed when I saw the finished product of my changes. Everything about me is reflected in my room. I even hugged Tamara for making it better and wonderful. Syempre my family including Natalie was very happy.

"Hey Mae! Look at the views of our video interview on the net!" Naeexcite na sabi ni Natalie sa'kin as she hands over her iPad to me and holy sizzles!

"Congratulations Natalie!" I exclaimed as I gave her a warm hug.

"Thank you Mae! Because of you, my blog reached into 3 billion followers! Thank you!" Pasasalamat niya sa'kin.

"Why don't we celebrate?" Agad kaming nagkatinginan at sabay na sumigaw ng,

"Shopping!"

As we got inside the mall, napapatingin ang mga tao sa amin. Hindi na kasi ako ang nag-iisang dyosa. Dalawa na kasi kami eh! Natalie is wearing her black tight shorts, a white crop top which reveals her cleavage and her five inches white heel. Oh di ba? Ang sexy ng kasama ko pero mas sexy ako. I'm wearing a black short skirt and a white long sleeved crop top with my black six inches heel.

Hindi kami napapagod maglakad with our high heel because we're already used to it. We took some selfies when we got inside Starbucks. We even made a video blog as a token of appreciation for Natalie's viewers and Natalie even changed the name of her blog. From Princess Nat to Princess Nat and Queen C. Ang bongga!

We spent a lot of time inside Starbucks because of our conversation. We talked and talked for hours until I Natalie noticed something behind me. Para siyang nakakita ng multo sa likod ko kaya inilingon ko ito without hesitate and saw Rexiel looking at me coldly.

Ba't nandito siya?
