Carla's pov

I paced around my room writing notes down and symbols to explain the meaning of the riddles I found last week. I wrote it down and hylighted the last words of each line.

The trigger is you
Which it can't
For she you will not have
For she will have a slumber like death

"In what situation would I die! I don't get it!!" I yell in frustration I have never left my room ever since I read those notes

The most pitiful thing is love
But that's what your heart is

It shall consume and haunt thee

I put my hand in my pocket and I felt a slip of paper.
"Oh no...I accidently took one!" I opened it up and it was different this time. As I highlight the key words-

No matter what your heart will die
You'll learn why slowly
For you are mortal and only a child

My eyes went wide in fear
"Holy F*ck!! I yelp and I crumbled the paper and threw it across the room in fright.
"What? No no no no no no!" I started trembling in fear
"What the hell is happening." A wave of pain fell over me. I wimper and ran to my bed and hid in my covers I all of a sudden i felt myself drop in temperature and I felt so cold.
"What the-

Next thing I knew I blacked out.

Why won't yooou gooo
Where all that is loow
Once you fuully awake
Your life is at stake

It will only crash from above.

I jolted up and a rush of weakness and coldness fell apon me. All sleepy eyed I fell back down on the bed.
"Calm yourself."
I hear a familiar voice say.
"What happened?" I say to toffee who was knelt beside my bed. And mayhem looked at me in shock.
"You're.. Alive!" She says smiling.
"What?" I was so confused, alive? Was I suppose to die....

Flashback Toffee's POV

Way can't I think straight the voices i-i don't understand.
