(Levi's POV)

It's been a year since (Y/N) got nearly raped. I have been investigating the case with Hanji, Mike and Erwin. What did we get so far you ask?

Nothing....Fucking nothing!
We tried everything; interrogation, checking security cameras. But on the bright side, Hanji didn't detect any....ahem....sperm movement or anything in (Y/N)'s body so she didn't get pregnant. Don't get me wrong, I'll accept the child if it's not mine.

Day by day, one person would come in to ask me to come out for at least a milisecond to spend some time with them or to have a meal. In response, all I do is just growl and threaten them to leave me to work.

'How?' I pondered, 'How can they be so happy and cheerful after what happened? Sure, it's been a year but to me, it feels like it was yesterday.'

The door opened, allowing the light to illuminate my office.

"Hey Levi, I brought some food for you. It's your favorite; Mac N Cheese Omelet! I made it myself and I thought you would want some." The voice said.

Leave me alone.

"I haven't seen you in forever. Why won't you come out? You need some air."

Go away. GO AWAY!

"Please Levi, I miss yo-"

It suddenly turned red.......

I was standing in front of her.....

She was scratched and bit severely on her right hand and the person who did it was.......

There she was, on the ground with tears endlessly flowing from her eyes down to her cheeks.

"L-Levi?"

I pulled away, blood dripping from my mouth. Problem is, it's not mine.

I looked at the nearby mirror and noticed that I'm in my Inu form.

I wiped the blood quickly and looked at (Y/N)'s terrified face.

"(Y/N)-san, I-I'm s-sorry. I didn't...." I tried approaching her but she started sobbing and covered her head and sat in a fetal position.

I couldn't stand it. I didn't mean it...

"Levi....why?"

I looked at her scared expression.

"I....I don't know.....I'm so sorry." That's when it was my turn to cry.

"I didn't know what happened. I'm really sorry."

I dropped to my knees and sobbed as I returned to my human form.

"(Y/N)-san, I would never hurt you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...."

I suddenly felt soft warm hands embrace my back.

"It's okay." She said.

We sat like that for an hour. I stood up to get the first aid kit to treat her wounds.

As I dipped the cotton ball into the alcohol, I said; "Don't worry, this is gonna hurt for a while."

I chuckled. "This brings me back to when we first met."

She kept quiet.

She didn't even flinch when I dabbed the alcohol. After I covered her up, she thanked me and left the room.

"(Y/N)-san, I'm really sorry."

She turned around.

"Like I said, it's okay. Anyway, I'm going with Hanji, Mike and Erwin to the beach, wanna come?"

"Yeah, it's time I spent some time with my girlfriend, right?" I smiled and winked at her.

"Yeah. Might as well get ready Levi. Well leave soon."
And with that, she left.
