Chapter Five; Scandal

---

"You're fucking crazy! Go apologize to your mother!" Livy demanded, pulling me in the house. My feet were trudging across the concrete, then when I stepped in the door, my Mom stood there. Mark next to her.

"Honey, please let me explain." She pleaded, her eyes meeting mine. I crossed my arms over my chest and listened. "I'm lonely. I need a man in my life, and I wasn't just going to sit there and die alone. I still love your Dad, but I can also love another man."

"I'm aware of what happened, and I totally respect if you don't like me... Or at least isn't used to the fact of me being around your mom. I like Susan very much, she's a nice women, but I-"

"It's fine. Just please don't speak of Dad right now?"

---

The next morning, I woke due to a loud crash of thunder. It scared the living day lights out of me, but I didn't have a heart attack. I was close to having one. The sun wasn't shining, which brought gloominess to the day.

Livy said check her Twitter

Well then! Sliding my tablet from under my pillow, I grabbed it, and opened the Twitter app. I went to her page and saw his tweet.

@justinbieber:

Beliebers! You're Beliebers. Why would you even believe that BS? @aubreyowenss you're so cruel. Just cruel. @livyboo thanks for giving me her twitter xx

Livy really gave him my Twitter? And I thought she was my best friend. Well, I guess having a Belieber as my best friend was the wrong choice. Texting her, my mom started laughing outside the door. I didn't bother to listen, but then Livy answered back.

From: LivyBoo!

I thought you wanted this. I thought you wanted him to find out.

To: LivyBoo!

He's closer to finding me.

From: LivyBoo!

You're unbelievable.

To: LivyBoo!

If I'm unbelievable then why do people believe the scandal? Common sense.

I think we just defriended each other. We've never argued over someone, and the one thing we argue over was a boy. And that boy had to be Justin Bieber. Like really?

My stomach started growling, so I walked out my room, feeling a cold breeze hit me. I had on shorts, a tank top, and socks. Considering it's fall, I'm freezing! Mark had cooked. Rolling my eyes, I look at them.

"Hey Aubrey." Mark smiled, placing the three plates on the table. My plate was in my regular spot I usually sat it, and Mark sat in Dad's spot. Gosh, this is so awkward, because I still don't approve of Mark.

--

"How are you holding up?" Brian asked.

"Good." I answered. "It's not like I'm going to die without her. She's just my friend."

"Seriously?" He asked in disbelief. "She was about to cry. You're like her other half, now suddenly is just a friend."

"I didn't mean it like that, but I've got more things on my mind than that stupid argument."

"Who Bieber?" He asked sarcastically. "I thought you hated him."

"Why are you acting so rude now? I didn't do shit to you!" My eyes narrowed at him, then I walked away. Left him standing on the sidewalk looking dumbfounded. In about 5 minutes, I had reached the corner, and someone ran into me. "Watch where you're going."

"Sorry. We both turned the corner in a rush and didn't see each other." he defended himself. He is cute, I admit. My glare softened and he still looked pissed at me.

"I'm just not in a good mood." I said. "I'm sorry for snapping at you."

"It's fine." He smiled slightly. "Where are you in a rush to?"

"I don't know." I answered. He then invited me to this arcade with him, and I gladly said yes. While we were walking I found out his name was Mason, he graduated already, and he plays football. There's a football game tomorrow, I might go.

As we arrived at the arcade, he opened the door for me, and smiled. There were kids running around, grown ups following them, and there were many games to play. "Hey, wanna go play that?"

Mason pointed to air-hockey. Nodding, I followed him, and he paid for it. Such a gentleman. While we were playing we started throwing insults and bets at each other, that we really didn't mean. "Do you want to come to the game tomorrow?" He asked.

I shrugged.

"Let's make a real bet." He grinned. "If I win you have to come to the game. If you win you get to chose between coming. But I play second half."

"Deal." We shook on it and started. He was very good, and I sucked. 10 minutes later, he won. "Okay. Okay. You're good. But I should get home. I'll see you at the field."

I think I just scored a date!

----

There's not much Justin in the story, but I'm sure in the next chapter and up there will be more of him. I'm not going to promise, but I'll be sure to add him more! Btw- half day tomorrow. I'm going to wake early just to try to write :D
