Chapter Twenty-Nine; Scandal
---
We've just reached New York around 10:30. The party starts at 11 so that left Ariana and I time to doll up, and pretty up. Justin figured out I was lying, but Scooter had done something preventing me from telling the truth. I didn't want Justin knowing I was in New York, because if he's overprotective about me and an imaginary guy, he'd be more paranoid that I'm on a different state.
Ariana booked us a hotel, and it was on the 5th floor, meaning it was one of the best rooms in the hotel. We carried our overnight bag into the hotel, and started dolling up with our hair. We did our hair similar, but I didn't want a braid. I just left it curly, with a bow. Next was simple makeup, with pink blush and eyeshadow. A little blue to compliment it.
By the time we had finished it was 11, so we'll be fashionably late. "Ready to go?" Ariana asked, checking ourselves in the mirror. She had her phone, and posed for a picture. I joined her, and we took a picture at the same time.
"Yep!" I nodded, posting the picture on Twitter under 'twinning'. I'm sure Justin saw Ariana's tweet about NY, and he doesn't want to talk to me. Well, he shouldn't have been so selfish, and I would've told him where I was going.
"Stop dwelling over Justin, before I don't take you to this party." Ariana is like a mind reader.
"I can't." I sighed. "He's acting so different, and it's bothering me."
"Call him. Call him before we go to this party."
--
I've been calling him for the longest, and he hasn't picked up. We were still in the limo driving to the party, but we weren't no where came to it. "Hello?" Scooter answered.
"Where's Justin?"
Scooter I guess have the phone to him, and they started bickering over something. Once it stopped, Justin had said hello into the phone. "Justin, I'm sorry for lying. I didn't want you to worry about me while I was in NY."
"Aubrey, I have to tell you something." He whispered, like as if he was crying. "We can't be together."
My heart then shattered like a glass hitting the floor. Instead of asking why, I just hung up. Ariana looked at me, back to the window, and back at me. "Why-what happened?"
"He broke up with me." I whispered, trying not to cry. "I knew he was playing me. I knew this was all just a game to get revenge. Games on Bieber."
"Don't do it." She took my phone. "He might have a reasonable explanation."
Arguing back was stupid, so I didn't. I was just going to get revenge on him alone, without Ariana stopping me. I nodded, and she rubbed my arm for comfort. "We're here!" the driver announced.
Ariana's door opened, and we both slid out that side. The building was big. Ariana and I linked arms, with a white sweater over our arms. It's a little chilly out, but not too cold. We were still wearing dresses.
When we got into the top floor, there were celebrities lurking around inside a room. There was a ginormous window that had a view of the purple, yellow, and blue lights of New York. When I walked in, Ariana was already mingling with people.
I was the odd one out.
"Hey! Ar---Aubrey?" I noticed that Irish accent from anywhere. It was Niall Horan! "Haha! Hey! Where's Justin?"
"Canada." I simply said, having the biggest smile on my face.
"Want something to drink?' He lead me to a punch bowl. Nodding, I started looking around for Ariana, and she was over talking to Usher. Wow, all these celebrities!
