Chapter One; Scandal

--

"Hey Aubrey! Where'd you see them having sex? What'd she look like?"

"Aubrey! Why'd you tell everyone what you saw?"

"Why didn't you keep it to yourself? Justin's just a curious kid."

Those were some of the question thrown at me as I walked into the grocery store. The security of the store blocked them from coming in so nothing got ruined. In just 2 days, I'm already getting questioned like I'm the famous one. Shouldn't it be Justin?

Considering no one has seen Justin this week, paparazzi doesn't have a new scoop on the Biebs. They've been following me since yesterday, but it doesn't bother me. I honestly like the attention I'm getting. The hate I'm getting for spreading 'what I saw' is very intriguing. The hate is a boost of confidence, and I don't know why.

Pulling a shopping cart from the row of carts, I leaned on the handle, and continued walking. My mom had sent me shopping since I've been infatuated with this scandal. She agreed with Livy on my life is going to be a living hell, but I didn't care, so she didn't care.

She said, and I quote; "Whatever you get into is your problem. Don't come crying to me for help." Since then, she's been a normal mother not bringing up the half-famous part of me.

Now that I've got the things on the shopping list, I went to register 7. Shortest line in the whole store. I putting my things on the belt. They moved up to the lady, that she started ringing them up. As I was taking out my money, girls started walking toward me.

"You!" she pointed in my face. "You're ruining Justin's relationship, and he doesn't even know about it."

"You!" I pointed back. "Your breath is ruining my sense of smell."

"Just be sure of this." she said. "Beliebers, don't play. It's go hard or go home, and we sure as hell aren't going home. We'll bring you to the bottom and smash you."

"You say it like I care?" I chuckle, and she groaned walking away. The cashier lady started ringing up the rest of my things, and looked at me.

"What you did was brave." She smiled. "I don't see how you're defending yourself against millions of people."

"They don't know me." I grinned, placing the bags in my cart. Walking out proud of myself, the paparazzi followed me through the parking lot, and to my car. "You really want answers?"

All kinds of questions were thrown at me. If I can't understand what the hell they're saying, how the hell am I to answer them? Tough luck.

Unlocking my door, one man tapped my shoulder. He looked around, and looked at me. "Do you really hate Bieber as much as you show it? I mean I've seen haters, but you.." He chuckles, "you've never met him and you hate him with a burning passion as if you met him before."

I looked at him in disbelief that he had just said that. Nodding, I started to speak. "Yes, I really hate him as much as I show it. He thinks he's all that because he thinks he's the next 'king of pop'. Michael Jackson will always be the king of pop, and no one can replace him."

"That's the only reason why you don't like him?" He asked. He didn't look he was recording, but he was. There's a green light flashing.

"No," I sighed. "That's one reason, but all my other reasons top that reason. I've gotta get home, so yeah."

"Thank you for your time," he smiles, and turns his back. He walks away, and ran to his crew, probably talking about what I said. Pulling off, I drove through the mostly empty parking lot, and watched as cars drove past.

--

Me and my mom finished putting the groceries where they belong, and she sat down by the island. Sitting on a stool across from her, she sighed. "I don't like you being attacked my paparazzi. I know I said it's your problem, but I worry about you."

"Mom, I-"

"Think of what your Dad would say." She cut me off. "Your Dad would've made you tell the truth. I love you and want to protect you like he did. Please stop this?"

"It's already started, and it can't stop until Bieber starts answering questions."

Mom walked out the kitchen, obviously disappointed at my answer. She is really passionate when it comes to protecting me, because my dad and I were in an accident together.

"Have fun! Be safe!" My mom waved. We waved back with a grin plastered on our faces. Camp. Away from school. Away from enemies. Away from everything! Mom didn't want to join because she has to work. Her boss wouldn't let her leave for the week.

"So kiddo, how's it going in school?" My Dad asked.

"Horrible." I answered. "I failed my Math test, and Spanish test. Apparently, we have to divide letters with numbers."

"That's your mom's talent. I was horrible at math too."

There was loud beeping in the distance. "DAD WAT-"

Before I could answer, a big truck had ran into us from the side. My whole body flew to the ceiling meaning the car rolled into the field beside us. Once the whole car stopped moving, I laid there not able to move. "Daddy?"

"Baby, get out! Now! There's gasoline-" he stopped mid sentence to cough. "Get out."

I refused to get out until he did. He pushed me out the sunroof, and before I could get up, fire had already reached his leg, and he was burning. I watched my father burn to death, and the guy that ran into us had called the cops.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. That had happened two years ago when I was 17, I'm 19 now. I can close my eyes and just see my dad burning. My mom sent me to therapy to see why I kept having nightmares, but it just meant I was traumatized.

This was boring I know, but it takes a big part in the story. Plus, I didn't have any other idea for the first chapter.

Throughout the week I won't be able to update much because of school, and the tight schedule going to Ohio. It's 45 minutes away so, I could probably update from my phone.

Anyways, vote, comment, and share! Enjoy reading :)
