Jean was shocked to have found his mate. Everyone was frozen. Jean's eyes connected once again to the big muscular black wolf with the most beautiful yellow eyes looking right into his. Without thinking, Jean reached out his hand wanting to touch his mate - the instant bond affecting his actions. The black wolf took the hand as a good sign and moved closer slowly with a lot of grace. The wolf was definitely an Alpha, the thought resounded in Jean's mind, as a sigh almost made itself known, just his luck.
The marines were still in a state of bewilderment and didn't register fast enough that the black wolf had made it past their line. Once they finally snapped out of it, it was too late. They held back as they noticed the curiosity in their captain's eyes. He deserved to be happy. The black wolf was only inches from Jean's hand. When they touched sparks ran through the both of them earning a sound of pleasure. The alpha started nuzzling his hand, while the marine began petting his head. Eric moved closer and began licking his hand. Going as for as to place his snot in the man's neck, earning a chuckle from the tingling sensation. Seeing his mate relaxing, the feeling of being complete washed through his body. Eric stepped back a little and Jean let out a small protesting sound from losing his mate's touch.
A sloppy tongue licked his mate's neck to reassure that he wasn't going anywhere. Shifting back to human, Jean's eyes brightened, as his mate stood bare in front of him. His short black hair, strong jaw, beautiful lined stomach with an eight-pack, yellow eyes and his towering form, which seemed to be doubled from Jean's sitting position. Eric squatted down to Jean's height.
"What is your name beautiful?" The husky voice vibrated through the air, making hair stand up. Jean felt like they were stuck in their own world and could only answer his question in a short reply.
"It's Jean. Yours?" The god in front of him beamed a smile, which was almost blinding. His heartbeat picking up.
"Jean. A beautiful name for a beautiful man. I'm Eric." Jean smiled and blushed. Not knowing what was going on, as he had never in his life experienced this. Someone cleared their throat, making the world return around them. Jean looked up and saw his team with smug expressions.
"Well captain, I've never seen you blush before. That was certainly new." Said Jake. Jean sent a glare in his direction.
"Watch your mouth O'Connor or you'll get to go through training once again." Jake's smirk fell and he began whining.
"What? You cannot mean that, we have already been through it twice and afterwards got beaten up by you. It's not fair." Jake began pouting, Jean actually thought he looked cute.
"Okay. Fifteen miles."
"What? show mercy, captain."
"Did you not hear me O'Connor. That was an order!" Jake whined, but began running anyways. Jean looked at the others. His expression clearly amused, yet serious at the same time.
"Anyone else? Or do you want to join O'Connor?" The group quickly shook their heads. They knew not to joke around, when their last name was used. In their opinion, he was abusing his authority. It being his way of teaching them a lesson.
Jean nodded, satisfied with himself. The new found mates' eyes once again met. Eric was really fascinated with his mate. He would make a good Luna, seeing the control he had over his men. Also he could clearly fight, if he was the cause of those men lying on the ground panting like they had been through hell.
"Now, where were we? Oh right. Are you and your pack living close to here?" Eric couldn't do anything other than nod his head, as he was enchanted by the creature who he called his mate.
"Well that's good. My men and I along with their mates moved here approximately two weeks ago and those dumb heads forgot to inform you of our arrival. Well that just means that I have to take over the next time." Eric saw that Jean glared at his men, who covered back. If he hadn't seen his mate's strength through his voice, then he would have found this scene absurd – four strong werewolves being scared of a man, with just the right amount of muscle, sitting in a wheelchair.
