Chapter 6

Luke just left me in his room.

He is such an asshole.

I got my clothes back on and fixed my hair.

I walked down stairs and took a shot that was in front of my mom. I downed it quickly and sat around the table.

I was sitting and listening to the conversation between my mum and Liz.

Then my phone went off signaling I got a text.

It was from Danielle.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" She asked.

"Nothing that I know of. Why?"

"Road trip." That was all she had to say to get me on board.

"Deal. How long? I will pack tonight."

"2 days. 4 at the max."

"Ok."

"I will be picking you up at 7:00 tomorrow morning so be ready."

"You got it."

Danielle and I always go on road trips when we aren't in school.

I had a smile on my face when Luke came and sat by me.

"What has you all smiley?" He asked.

"I'm going on a road trip." I replied.

"How long?"

"Few days." Luke grabbed my hand and pulled me to the living area.

"Why do you keep leaving?" He asked sternly.

"Why do you keep acting like you care?" I retorted.

"Because I do."

"Because I do." I told her. I can't let her slip away again. I almost did that last time and I regret it.

After she went to America I felt like it was my fault.

Later on I got into a band and I have slowly forgotten about her.

"Not going to believe it." I could tell she had some drinks.

I looked into her eyes and kissed her.

She didn't know what to do then she just pulled away.

Once she did that her mum stumbled into the room.

"Hazel you are driving home. Let's go."

"Yes mother."

Hazel looked at me and shook her head. I could tell she was confused and didn't know how she felt.
