Chapter eight

"I wish we could do things that other couples did, like going on dates and posting cute pictures together on Instagram." I sighed.

"You two will be able to do those things one day." Jess said giving me wink.

Jess was the only one who knew about Luke and I. She was my best friend after all, how could I keep a thing like this from her?

"So is it offical?" She asked me. I gave her a look of confusion causing her to roll her eyes. "Is it offical, has he asked you to be his girlfriend yet?"

"Well no but-"

"Honey, you better tie that down soon before he find someone to bang. I mean I get you wanna take it slow but you never said it was exclusive if you get where I'm going." Jess said causally.

He wouldn't do that.... Would he?

"I mean I get it, if you weren't into him I'd def tap that but your best friend so." She laughed and gave me a wink.

The two of us lay on my bed thinking then it came to me. "How was your date with Calum?"

She rolled her eyes. "The date was okay I guess, the after sex wasn't. His dick was smaller than a bug."

I just laughed at her. "So your ditching him because he has a small dong?"

"Obviously."

I took a long pause. Then spoke; "I think I'm going to text Luke and ask if we are official and all that."

Jess nodded. I got my phone out and started to text him.

Me: hey

Luke: hey, what's up?

Me: just hanging with Jess, you?

Luke: just with Mikey and the others. They are doing the chubby bunny challenge.

Me: sounds fun.

Luke: you okay?

Me: are we official?

Me: like together together?

Me: like boyfriend and girlfriend together?

Luke: Look, I'm not sure I'm ready for that. Maybe friends who like each other with benefits for now?

Yikes.

"What an asshole!" Jess exclaimed. "I will legit drop kick his balls."

I sighed and turned back to my phone.

Luke: I just don't think I'm ready for a commitment yet.

Me: I understand.

Luke: friends who like each other with benefits?

Me: friends who like each other with benefits.
