Prologue.
"How may I be of help, Master?"
The dragon bowed but still remained protectively in front of his lover. Smart move. But it wasn't necessary. Although he wasn't a fan of vampires he didn't mind the dragon's vampire. He was looking for something more important.
"Black dragon. It's been long," he moved closer so he could place his hand on the dragon's shoulder. A sign of assurance.
"Yes it has."
"How is little Cammy doing. She was a toddler last I saw her," the man said with a fond smile.
"She's doing well," the dragon said, looking up.
"Could we find somewhere to talk. We have a lot to discuss. Maybe the goddess' children will be able to accept me in their home," the man said already walking up the road.
"But master-"
"Yeah, yeah... I know the goddess doesn't like me much. But I heard the Alpha here is a very open minded fellow," he waved not even turning to face them.
The dragon fell back to walk next to his vampire, who was shooting him questioning looks. The man didn't pay them any mind as he focused on his destination.
The wolves had already sensed their approach. He knew it. But even with the bad blood against his father and the goddess, he needed the night werewolf's help. He's not one to ask, but he has no choice.
The man stopped when he stood right on the edge of the packs territory it wouldn't be taken lightly if he crossed it.
Five wolves appeared from the trees ready to attack. He held up his hands in surrender and moved back.
"Easy there. I came to seek an audience with your Alpha," he stated calmly.
"You have my attention. How may I be of help?" a voice said and a man appeared from behind the wolves. The man smiled, at least things were going as he wanted. It would have been harder if it was any other alpha.
He just had to convince him into helping protect his little Oedipus.
