The past few weeks had been busy for Dallas and Amori but she missed her sisters so they all had breakfast at Frankie's house and Cali cooking as usual. "Nice to finally see your face instead of a text." LuLu stated smartly as she took a seat. "Or Instagram, Facebook, twitter and snap chat." Frankie added. "Life has been busy and I'm here now so you all will just have to get over it." She said politely as she took a bite of her French toast. "Come on, no picking." Cali defended. "So as your sister I have to ask." Frankie said. "The answer is no. I told him no. I know he came to you guys first and how could he even think it was a good idea?" All the girls looked to Cali. "Luca talked to mommy while she was in town. I told her don't but we know how that always work out and it went from there." She said quickly. "That was not acceptable. It was the most uncomfortable, embarrassing thing I've ever been through in my entire life." Amori said as she covered her face with her hands. Her sisters giggled. "Seriously. Dallas found the ring after sitting on the bed that morning." She mumbled and her sisters managed to hear. She felt the sudden pause in the room and looked up. "What?" She asked. "What do you mean Dallas found it on the bed?" Frankie asked. Amori sighed. "It's not like that. I was late getting ready for breakfast with him and his mom and I was finishing my make up, he took a seat on the bed and sat on it, felt it, handed it over, asked questions, I avoided them and we left." She explained.

"So what happened with Luca?" Lucy asked. Amori sighed. "We got into an argument because I turned him down. He instantly assumed because I said no that it was because I'm with Dallas. I called him insecure and told him to get out. What the hell is wrong with me?" She asked before taking a sip of orange juice. "Sounds like you've had a rough few weeks." Cali told her. Amori nodded. "Well as much as I'd love to stay and talk all day I have a shoot to do." She kissed them all on the cheek and left.

Amori's phone rang and she sighed deeply. "Good morning Luca." She answered. "Before you hang up just hear me out." He told her. She rolled her eyes as his voice filled her car. "What is it Luca? I have a shoot to do." He sighed. "I just wanted to check on you and apologize for the way things went." She was already over the conversation. "I appreciate you apologizing and for checking on me Luca. Thank you but you can't keep calling me out the blue like this. We're not together anymore. Thank you but please. Stop. Goodbye Luca." She hung up the phone before he could say anything else. Her mind raced at how quickly they went from a great relationship to something crazy. She pulled into the location not knowing the client at the moment because it was a last minute emergency.

She made her way over to security and before could say her namshee someone answered for her. "Amori Reed. Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes." She froze as chills ran down her spine. "Zahier Olson." Was all she could manage to get out. The story between them was simple. He was her college boyfriend. Her first real love. Typical football star. Smart, handsome and charming. Just wasn't serious enough about the right things for her. She cut her losses while she could.

"What are you doing here?" She quickly asked regaining herself. He chuckled. He's always found her to be adorable and attractive. He hated himself for a while for letting her get away so easy but now that he's seen her, that wasn't happening again. "I've moved here for football season. I just joined the team out here." He told her proudly. "Is that right? That's really great." She replied to quickly recover from the shocking news. "So what brings you here?" She asked curiously. "More money. Better opportunities. Change of scenery. Cali just wasn't really the same anymore." He informed her. "Well welcome to my city. I wish you the best of luck." She told him. "What are you doing here?" He asked as she walked off. She turned and smirked."I came to dress you." He smiled and watched her walk away.

After the shoot finally ended, Amori was packing up her things to leave when a voice stopped her. She walked to the hallway to see Dallas and Zahier talking. She walked over to him. Dallas saw her and smiled brightly. "Hey. I haven't heard from you in a few days, what are you doing here?" He said as they hugged. She smiled and moved her hair back. "I know. I've been working and spent the morning with my sisters who says hi by the way and had to come in to work this shoot for Zahier today." He raised an eyebrow at how comfortable she was saying his name. "Yeah every since college Mori has always had a great eye for style man. She's one of the best." Dallas nodded and Amori could see the jealousy building up in his eyes. "You guys went to college together?" Before Amori could answer Zahier did it. "Yeah we were a thing in college. For most of it until almost the end of senior year. I fucked up and I greatly apologize for it." Amori smiled weakly. "It's fine. Um. I have to finish getting my things. It was good seeing you Zah. I wish you all the best." She told him before walking away. "You too Amori. We'll be working together again really soon." She smiled and nodded. "I'll meet you outside." Dallas called after her. She nodded feeling her chest tighten. She knew questions were coming.

After gathering the rest if her things, Amori heard someone throat clear. She turned to see Zah. "I thought you were gone." She told him. He chuckled. "Nah. Actually I was heading out but I wanted to stop and see if you would accompany me to dinner tomorrow night?" Amori smirked and then she remembered just how charming he was. "Sure. Take my card. My cell is on there. Send me the details." She told him before walking out of the building. Dallas stood off the car with a concentrated face as if he was studying her. She hit the locks and he opened the door so she could place her things inside. "Why the long face?" She asked. "No reason. I'm chilling." She shook her head. She knew that response all too well. "There's no reason to be jealous Moriah. He's an ex who was also a really good friend in college. Nothing more." He licked his lips. "It's cool Mori. I'm not worried about all that. I just know things about people. Some good. Some bad. But when it comes to you, he just rubs me the wrong way." She licked her lips and smirked. "I appreciate it Dallas but I'm a big girl. I can handle myself. I know what to expect with him already besides we're just friends and he asked me to dinner tomorrow night. As friends. Just to catch up." Dallas didn't like the idea but he wasn't going to protest. "Like I said Mori. Just be careful." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head. "I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to you kidd." He mumbled before letting her go. She heard him but chose not to respond. "Get home. Let me know when you make it." He closed her car door and watched her pull off before leaving himself.
