How long have I been in the Afterlife? I've lost count of the days. Why bother keeping track anyways? It's not like anything ever changed. Every single day was the same. Wake up, get to school, go to class, draw, and return back to the dorm. And still, I haven't made a single friend. Maybe I wasn't meant to have a friend. I couldn't get one when I was alive, so why should I expect to get one now when I'm dead?

I heard a knock on the door and I immediately jumped up to answer it. Nobody ever came over. What was this about? I opened the door and saw a tall guy with blue hair and dark purple eyes.

"Hi, I am your new roommate from today on-wards, Hinata," he greeted.

"Oh, hello. I am Ooyama. Nice to meet you," I said with a smile.

Finally, I had somebody to talk to. He seemed rather nice. I'm sure he could be my first friend. How nice would that be?

"Nice to meet you too," he replied.

"Table is over there. If you don't mind, you can use the upper bed," I told him, trying to be friendly.

     Silence.

"What are your hobbies?" he asked suddenly.

"Reading books and listening to music," I answered, not wanting to be rude and avoid the question.

"What kind of music?" he questioned further.

"I like to listen to pop music," I answered.

"Do you like sports," he asked. How many more questions would there be?

"I like watching better than playing," I said honestly.

He grew silent. Oh, I hope I didn't offend him. I sure didn't want a roommate who didn't like me. He looked sad. Had he died too?

"Let's go to the showers. I'll show you the way," I suggested.

I couldn't think of anything else to do. Sitting silently in this room was very uncomfortable. I only wanted to leave the dorm of awkward, and that was the first thing that popped into my head.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go," he smiled.
