This day seemed to drag on forever. Hinata seemed to know people around the school, because he didn't even bother to associate with me. Oh well. It's not like I expected him to anyways. At least the day finally was ending and I could eat dinner. I rushed to get my meal.
Where to sit? There were some empty tables, but I can't sit alone. That would only make me look like a loner. Usually I sit with somebody by themselves, but everybody seemed to be in groups today. Everybody except me. I was beginning to consider sitting alone when a flash of blue caught my eye. Was it him? I approached the table slowly.
"In short, let's find a way to find out whether she is God," I heard a magenta haired girl at the table say. How strange.
"Ah! Isn't it Hinata?" I interrupted as she finished her sentence.
"Oh!" he said in recognition.
"Who's that?" the girl whispered.
Hinata quickly responded, "My roommate."
"You're also eating here! What a coincidence!" I exclaimed. "Can I sit next to you?"
Hinata nodded.
I remembered what the girl said before I got here. What was that about? Maybe I could find out...
"Ah, it looks like you guys are having a fun conversation," I pointed out.
The girl nodded sharply and stated, "But I'm leaving now."
Was she leaving because of me? Oh, I hope not.
"Then Hinata, I will give you 'til tomorrow to think of a way, or I'll dismember your body," she told him while walking away.
I shuddered a bit. That was a strange thing for such a pretty girl to say.
"Eh? It's me again?" Hinata asked, surprised. I felt so lost to their conversation.
When she was gone, I turned to Hinata. "She's so pretty. Is she your friend?"
"Ah, yeah," he answered nervously. "She's a lively girl who will occasionally use chopsticks to dig out your eyes and will kick you down from the roof everyday."
"She's that violent!?" I shouted. "I don't understand how you can be friends with her."
"Why?" he asks as if the answer wasn't obvious. He then sighs and added, "I just can't bear to leave her alone."
"Hinata," I reassured him. "Take it easy. I won't do anything unreasonable to you."
"Oh?" he said.
I smiled, "Aren't we friends? Let's get along!"
What am I saying? We aren't friends! Are we? No, don't be ridiculous. We've only just met recently and he spends his time away from me.
"Ooyama," he whispered. "Such a good fellow. It's a shame that he is a normal student."
I looked at him confused. Normal student? I decided to ignore this comment and continue my meal.
---
"What kind of person is the Student President?" Hinata asked himself. He has been talking about this on our way to the dorms. Why does it trouble him?
"Of course!" he exclaimed as he opened the door to our room. "One of her hands is a knife and her eyes are filled with murderous intent. I heard she also goes out every night to suck the blood of living people."
