Chapter 7

Abby's P.O.V

After my steam filled shower I brushed my hair out. I know its bad to brush your hair when its wet but whatever.

I went over to my bed with a towel around me and my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I asked

"Abby! How was moving!" She squealed

"Oh my! Becca? It was great!! Why is your no caller id on?" I asked

"Cause you know girls gotta make calls" She said seductively

"Becca I gotta go but text me yeah" I said laughing at her comment

"Yeah of course babe. Ill text you" she said

"Bye!" I called out

"Bye" she said and I hung up

I got off my bed and put a lace bra and matching underwear on.

I put on a skin tight long sleeved black cropped top with a low neck. and a pair of light was high wasted jeans.

I walked out of my room and opened the door slowly and quietly. They were watching a scary movie and I closed the door slowly and quietly.

They were sitting on the front couch watching the conjuring.

The part with the clapping hands so I pulled out my phone and clicked video I put it in on the couch behind them so it was facing us, I put my hands in between their heads and clapped at the same time the movie did.

They split apart screaming and I was crying with laughter on the floor.

"Abby not cool" My brother said and I went to get my phone and sat down next to Jacob on the couch with them.

"Why would you sit at the front? Anything could be behind you" I whispered and we all went to the back.

"I'm picking the next movie" Jacob said

After the movie had finished Jacob got up but he didn't know what he was doing so my brother forced me in to help him while he sat on the couch.

I pushed the door open, it closed behind me and he looked confused as hell.

"Want some help" I asked and he looked up at me with a smirk

"Yeah, Thanks" He said and moved a bit

"What movie" I asked looking down at the phone and back out at the theatre through the 1 way glass.

He leaned over me, his body pressed close to mine due to the small space

"That one" He said pointing

I clicked on it and fixed it again

"So this room is soundproof to the movie room?" He asked

"Yeah, Derek can't hear anything even if a bomb went off in here" I laughed

"Thats cool, I don't think I know anyone with a movie room" He said

"Not many people do" I laughed and headed for the door.

He chuckled and followed me out.

We were watching Babadook when a scary part came up and it was a first instinct i cuddled up into Jacob.

A couple seconds later I peaked my head up and looked at him

"Sorry, Instincts?" I said he just smiled at me and kept his arm behind me on the couch.

My brother didn't seem to care one bit. I mean Jacob's arm wasn't touching me.

Maybe I wanted it to be though.

'Bad, bad, bad Abby, Naughty' I thought

'Yeah but you like the thought' I thought again and shook my head

"Hey Bambi" I heard Jacob say.

"Who's Bambi?" I asked looking around

The movie had finished and we were currently sitting in the movie room while Derek went to get more food and drinks.

"Your Bambi" He said

"No I'm Abby" I said

"No, I like Bambi for you" He said

"Well maybe I don't" I said

"What did you want to ask?" I asked

"Can you babysit my brothers tonight please" He asked

"Why?" I asked

"I'll be home before 11 just please my mums working late tonight and I have to work too" He asked

"You don't really know me. How do you know I wont kill them" I asked

"Because I think you won't. They are kind of a handful but please" He asked

"Alright. But only cause your working" I said

"What time do you start I'll come over before then" I said

"I start at 6" He said

"Okay so in 30 minutes?" I asked

"Yep so lets go now" He said

"Alright" I said getting up and following him out as Derek was coming up with chloe both their hands full.

"Where you guys going" Derek asked

"I gotta work man, your sisters going to babysit the boys for me" Jacob said

"Okay well its just you and me then CC" He said and they walked past us, as we were walking downstairs

"What do your brothers like?" I asked

"What do you mean?" He asked

"What do they like to do? Like watch tv? Play games? Eat?" I asked

"How about all of the above" He laughed

I am actually really good with kids so I think this should be okay.

"So where do you work?" I asked him

"I work over in the city. It usually only takes me like 5 minutes to drive out there so its easy" He said

"How old are you?" I asked

"17, you?" He asked

"16" I said

"When's your birthday" He asked

"10th of June, yours?" I asked

"4th of January" He said

"Oh, happy birthday for the other day then" I smiled

"Thanks" he smiled back

We were walking up to his front door and he pulled out his keys.

He was fidgeting with them and then he dropped them.

"Remember that they Luke probably be in bed before I get back, Dylan is like 15 now so I don't care when he sleeps. And don't. under any circumstances. Go into my room." He lowered his head so it was in line with mine and glared at me

"Okay. I get it" I said glaring back

"No need to get all angry with me" I said looking at the floor

He didn't reply he just walked up the stairs and disappeared

"Hey Abby" Dylan said

"Abby" Luke waved

This was going to be a calm night
