A/N: It's a little long, but it's my first one so don't judge too hard. XP

Dean quickly shut Sam's laptop. Cas could hear Sam giggling in the other room. He noticed Dean had a slightly amused expression, which made Castiel smile. He liked seeing Dean happy, as being a hunter he didn't have too many of those moments. "Hey Dean," he asked, "what were you looking at?" Dean smirked.
"I'm not sure if you really want to know, Cas," he answered.

Cas knew that Dean often looked at weird stuff online, but he normally did that when he thought he was alone, and he was not usually amused by that stuff.
"Show me," Cas replied. "I like it when you are happy." He said this to test the waters, to see if Dean could grasp the meaning hidden in his words.

"Okay...," Dean said. Cas wasn't sure, but he thought he saw a blush creeping onto Dean's cheeks. "Our, um, 'fans' are writing fanfiction about us. In a romantic way." He paused. "I swear, I wasn't searching for this or anything; Sam showed me this." Well, that explained Sam's giggling, thought Cas.

Dean reopened the laptop and gestured towards it. Cas squinted at the screen, tilting his head to the side. Dean found this adorable, but of course he wouldn't admit that. "Dean, why do they refer to me as 'dom'?" Cas asked. He gave Dean a confused expression. "I do not believe that is how it would happen. You are much more experienced, and I also tend to be much more shy than you are."
"Uhhh...well... I guess they write that way since you're an angel and I'm just a human," Dean stuttered, but chuckled to hide it. He looked down as he said this, as if slightly embarassed. Cas frowned slightly.

"Dean, you are much more than 'just' a human. You are special to me, Dean Winchester, regardless of the fact that this an interspecies..." Cas trailed off, unsure of how to word his thoughts. "...relationship," he decided. It was true, even if it was only a platonic one. However, he would love for it to become a romantic one.

To his surprise, Dean stepped closer. "What do you mean by that, Cas?" he asked softly. Cas looked at the ground.
"I...well...this is a relationship, just it is technically a platonic one," he replied.
"But," continuing when he saw Dean's slightly disappointed expression, Cas's heart fluttering nervously, "I would like it to be more." He looked at the ground as he finished. He expected Dean to ask him if he was serious, or make a joke, as he knew Dean liked to play it safe to avoid hurt feelings.

However, Dean instead grabbed Cas, pushed him against a wall, and passionately kissed him. Cas couldn't even think; he just let Dean take the lead, but still kissed him back with utmost love and passion.

Sam walked in, and saw his brother and the angel making out against a wall. He smirked, and mutter to himself, "it's about damn time." He respectfully left them alone, as he could always tease them later. Sam had planned to call Gabriel over, so he was kind of glad he had an excuse to get his own room. He was also happy that his brother had finally admitted his feelings; Dean deserved happiness.

As Dean and Cas pulled away, each gasping for air, they smiled. "So, I was right," Cas said. They were now sitting on the couch, curled up together, Cas's playing with Dean's hair.
"Yeah," Dean chuckled. "Not complaining though." Cas smiled. He and Dean could finally be happy together.
"Can we do that more often?" he asked, already sure of the answer.
"Hell yeah, Cas," Dean replied. "This is the best thing that's happened to me."
