Destiel One Shots (Supernatural)

Shut Up

It's been a while since I've updated, so I figured I should write a one shot. It may be a little short, but I hope you enjoy! :D

"What the hell were you thinking, Dean?!" Cas's yell echoed throughout the bunker.
"Damnit Cas, I was TRYING to SAVE YOU!" Dean's response was equally loud.
"I can save myself, Dean! I'm an angel, and it's my job to protect you!" Cas replied, scoffing.
"Will you two just stop arguing and relax?!" Sam said to them.
"NO!" Dean and Cas shouted in unison. Rolling his eyes, Sam went to his bedroom and shut the door.

Dean and Cas turned to face each other and glared. "SERIOUSLY DEAN!" Cas yelled. "I CAN HANDLE MYSELF!"
"WELL I'M SO SORRY THAT I CARE ABOUT YOU ENOUGH TO TRY AND PROTECT YOU!" Dean yelled back.
"I CARE ABOUT YOU TOO, WHICH IS WHY I DON'T WANT YOU TO SACRIFICE YOURSELF!" Cas retaliated.
"OH, SHUT UP!" Dean's voice raising even more.
"WHY DON'T YOU MAKE ME?!" Cas dared him.

Suddenly, Cas felt lips pressed against his own. His eyes widened in shock, but once he processed what was happening he closed them. Enveloped in a feeling of utter bliss, he grabbed hold of Dean and kissed back, afraid that if he didn't Dean would run away from his feelings.

As the two parted, they gazed into each other's eyes. Cas opened his mouth, as if to say something, but closed it soon after. "Well," Dean smirked, "I guess I managed to shut you up."

Cas cleared his throat. "So, did you mean any of that, or...?"
Dean smiled. "Cas, I've had feelings for you for a while, but we all know I'm bad with that stuff. I figured it was time for me to man up and tell you. I hope you feel the same, or this is going to be super awkward."
Cas chuckled. "Of course I do Dean," he said, and joined their lips once more.

Yeah, sorry this isn't as long as usual; I hope you still enjoyed it. I got the idea from a conversation I had with a friend; he told me to shut up and I said that I almost never do, and then this idea came to me.
