Mario and Luigi's Vacation

Chapter 1: Luigi's Idea

It was a pleasant day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and Luigi had just woke up and was pouring himself a bowl of cereal. It was only 5am, and his brother was still asleep. He liked to sleep in on weekends, although the two weren't in school anymore.

After his bowl of cereal, Luigi decided to watch the news. He was glad it was on this early, but he was usually the only one to watch the "Early Morning Special," considering it was the fact that it's really early.

He turned on the TV and instantly saw an add. "Ugh, I hate adds," Luigi moaned. The add started with a Pianta talking about a sunny resort. Hmm... Luigi thought, I'm always pretty stressed, from making dinners to saving princesses, I'm sure if I ask Mario to go to the resort with me, he'll come. He's a relaxed guy, he'd have a great time.

Luigi waited until 6am to wake his brother. He knew Mario would be angry, because he likes to wake up at 9am.

"What?" Mario growled.

"I came to wake you-"

"I can see that, idiot." Mario slapped his brother.

"Oww..." Luigi whined. He knew his brother was just a little annoyed at him for waking him up this early.

"Get your stupid reason you woke me told now, so I can go back to sleep." Mario grumbled.

"Well, this Pianta on TV said there's a really cool resort-"

Mario cut him off. "Isle Delfino? Been, there been committed of a crime-"

"No, it's a place called 'Floral Island.'"

"Well, I've never heard of it... Let's go!" Mario said.

Luigi was happy. Him and Mario, on a vacation, together, some quality brother bonding.

"I'll try all the food!" Mario chuckled. Luigi laughed. Mario sure loved food.

"But, hold on," Mario said uneasily. "What if I get arrested again?"

"Bro, you were framed by a kid, and the kid of BOWSER of all people, and you've defeated him ever since. You just didn't know," Luigi replied.

"Ah yes, I highly doubt Bowser'll be there anyways," Mario said.

"Yeah, he he, he won't be there," Luigi said, although he wanted the best vacation, nothing ever went according to plan. Bowser was always there to ruin their fun.
