Mario and Luigi weren't happy to see King Bob-Omb in the next room. He was a giant bomb, for God's sake! Also, it wasn't helping the matter that he was holding five Bob-Ombs in each hand. "M-Mario," Luigi pouted, holding onto his brother's shirt. Before Mario could answer, a giant Bob-Omb went crashing down into the front of the two brothers!

After about two minutes, the smoke cleared. Mario got up very slowly, but silently, looking for Luigi. He then found him ash-covered, like himself, and also unconscious. "L-Luigi... a-are you o-ok?" Mario asked quietly, as blue, sparkly tears started to role down his cheeks. There was no answer. Mario was upset, but also furious at King Bob-Omb. His heart pounded, his face reddened. He, without thinking, quickly ran around trying to make King Bob-Omb dizzy.

King Bob-Omb had reacted differently than he hoped. Instead of falling, King Bob-Omb wasn't even following what Mario was doing! It was so weird! Right afterwards, King Bob-Omb picked up Mario in his massive, white glove. He then smashed Mario hard against the floor. Mario gasped, trying to get air until King Bob-Omb slapped his face and Mario was left unconscious like his brother.

Once he woke up, Mario had still found King Bob-Omb staring at him and Luigi still dirty and asleep. Mario then found a Bob-Omb walking beside him, and thought of a plan...

Mario thought through carefully. He waited for King Bob-Omb's back to be turned. Luckily, King Bob-Omb had turned and Mario sprinted to the Bob-Omb. He gingerly picked it up, and as soon as King Bob-Omb turned back around, Mario threw the Bob-Omb at him as hard as he could. Direct hit. King Bob-Omb went tumbling to the ground and right afterwards exploded, sending Mario and Luigi flying into the next room.

Mario didn't look at his next opponent. All he cared about was his brother.
