Mario and Luigi's Vacation

Chapter 6: Lost In The Shy Guy Woods

Luigi woke up and realized that Mario was still asleep. He wasn't very proud of what he did to Mario, because now Mario now has a big, red bump on his forehead. Suddenly, a Toadette maid came into the room, and asked for them to leave so she could clean.

So, Luigi woke Mario and both got dressed. Mario had heard the story of Whittle and said if he ever saw him, he would punch his wood face to oblivion. "Jeez Mario, that's pretty harsh," Luigi commented. Mario raised an eyebrow. "Oh," was Luigi's reply.

They then went outside to walk on the beach. Soon, they saw a sign that said, "Shy Guy Woods, this way!" And an arrow pointing right. Suddenly, a leaf blew out of the way after the Mario Brothers had left, and it said, "Haunted! Do not enter!" But, it was too late.

A half an hour later, Luigi got caught in a bear trap! "Woah!" Luigi yelled.  It reverberated around the forest and took a while to stop. "Gosh, clumsy aren't we?" Mario laughed and got his brother down. "Mario," Luigi asked.

"Hmm?" Mario replied.

"I'm cold."

Mario slapped his forehead. "Ouch!" But, he did it before realizing he still had the bump on his head, even if it was fading away. "It's, like 90 degrees, if it's anything, it's hot!" Mario stated. Luigi replied, "To me it's cold, big bro."

Suddenly, they heard a voice in the distance. Mario... It said. Luigi... It said. Both brothers were getting creeped out. They both turned back and realized they were lost.  The worst part, however, was the fact that King Boo was floating right in front of them.

"Oh hello," He said, "Mario Brothers!"
