---Vaishali's POV ---

"So uuumm where are we going?" I asked.

"Home," Shehry said.

"Okay," I said.

A bit confused as to why he was taking me home. Not that I'm the type of girl that has to go out.

We got home and nobody was there.

"Where's everyone?" I asked.

"Let's see. Hussain and Anisha went to her parents house for the week. Mom, dad and Maha went to a relatives house so it's just us," he said.

"Oh okay," I said.

"Now go and change and I'll make something for you," he said.

"Make? You don't have to make anything," I said.

"But I want to," he said.

"Your trying to hard. I've already forgiven you," I said.

"I know," he said. "That doesn't mean that I stop being nice. Now, I can only cook chicken properly so if you don't like that we're going to have a problem."

I laughed at that. I decided to mess with him for a second.

"Actually, I can't eat chicken. I've gotten food poisoning from it," I lied.

"Oh. Well, then we're screwed," he said.

"Joking. Just wanted to see what you would say," I said.

"That's nice. I literally thought I was going to have to starve you," he said.

"Starve me? What about you?" I asked.

"What? I can eat it," he said.

I just laughed at that.

"Whatever, I'm going to go and change," I said and left.

A few minutes later he was almost done. I helped a bit here and there.

"All done," he said.

The look on his face clearly said he was proud of himself.

I took a bit since he kept looking at it and then at it me.

"This is uncooked! It's raw," I said.

"Why are you so...Oh it is," he said looking at it.

"Oops," he said.

I bit tongue from laughing out loud.

"I'll take it from here," I said and made him help out but nothing related to food.

"This would happen. My luck," I heard him say to himself.

"I appreciate your effort," I said.

"Thanks," he said.
