I had decided to quickly drop by her office today. I know she keeps saying she's better but I doubt it.

I got there and told them where I wanted to go and they told me to go ahead.

"Hey," Nandani said.

"I thought you can't stand me for a second," I said.

"Ya, I know. I'm really sorry for the way I acted," she said.

"It's fine," I said.

"Oh and Vaishali is getting some copies you can just come to my office til then," she said.

"Okay," I said and we left.

"So why're you working here?" I asked.

"Oh, I'm not officially here. Just a few things that need to be taken care of," she said.

"Oh okay," I said.

Seriously so awkward around her now. It's really crazy that the girl I couldn't be a second without is the one I'm dying to get away from.

"Anyways, she should be coming any second," she said.

"Ya. I'll get going," I said.

She nodded.

Right when I was about to leave she held me back and started to kiss me.

What the hell?

"Hey, here are those ..." I heard Vaishali say and broke away.

The way we were kissing made it look like I was the one that wanted to kiss Nandani.

"Wait, babe! This isn't what it looks like," I said but she had left.

I went right after her.

"Vaishali, listen to me," I said.

"Please leave from here," she said.

"No. I didn't kiss her! She kissed me!" I said.

"That's not what it looked like," she said.

"That's why I'm telling you it's not what it looks like," I said.

I went closer to her.

"I would never do anything to hurt you. I love you so much. Please believe me," I said.

"Okay, I'll give you a chance. But this is your first and last one," she said.

"Thanks," I said.
