----Vaishali's POV ---
One year later
Yeh larki kaha hai. Pakka, she's probably out with Shehry. Them two can never and I mean never stay inside the house.
I sighed and called him.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"On the road," he replied.
See, I knew it. They're out!
"You need to come home if you want to leave to the hall on time. Or you'll complain that I ruined your daughter's birthday party," I said.
"True, we will blame you," he said.
"We?" I asked.
"Yes we. Now, I'm hanging up. We're almost home. You better be ready," he said.
"UGH!" I said and hung up.
I went and got ready in about 20 minutes. Maybe if it was a sari it would've been ten minutes.
I went downstairs and made sure everything was locked. Of course, they still weren't here.
A few minutes later I finally the heard the door open.
"Momma!! You look so pretty!!" Soniya said.
"Thank you. Now, let's get you ready," I said.
"Okay," she said and we left.
I quickly got here ready.
"Thank you," she said.
"Thanks kyu?" I asked.
"Because you took me in and you treat me like a daughter," she said.
"Hey, come here," I said and hugged her.
I was going to say something when there was a knock on the door.
"Can I come in?" Shehry asked.
"Ya!" I replied.
"Wow princess. Look at you," he said.
"Why are you crying?" He asked her.
"It's nothing. I'm just saying thanks because you guys treated me like I belong here on this world," she said.
"Of course you do. We promise to raise you as if you were our own. Actually, you know what we already think of you as our own. So don't say thanks and please princess don't cry," he said.
"True," I said.
He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead and the hugged her.
"Come on. We have to go," he said.
"Okay. But wait, look how pretty I look," she said.
"You look pretty everyday," we both said.
