The teacher sets the timer to 12 minutes and tells us to start. I'm halfway around the track when I see Michael standing in the trees with Luke. His face looks shocked. I look down and I don't see anything wrong. I jog over to him, and Lexi runs up behind me.
"Lukeybear," Lexi calls Luke.
"Oh my god you're wearing Mike-ro-wave colors," Mikey exclaims.
"Lexi says they help me do better in gym."
"It's true!" She agrees. "Before she started wearing red and black she couldn't catch anything, but after she started wearing them she could catch. I mean she caught a damn Frisbee."
I nod in agreement. "The colors are magical."
Mikey and Luke laugh. And I can hear the gym teacher yell at us to get running. I just sigh and flip her off, I mean it's not like she can see us. Luke kisses Lexi on the cheek, and go awww and then I pretend to gag, just for payback. Lexi rolls her eyes and takes off running, I start to leave but Michael pulls my wrist and kisses me on the cheek. I smile and take off. Lucky for me I wasted most of my time talking to them. So I didn't have to run very much.
When I get back the teacher pulls me to the side and asks me why I wasn't running.
"I thought that I heard a kitten. And I just can't just leave a kitten stranded."
The teacher sighs and lets me go. I think to myself (an: what a wonderful world) good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught. Lexi runs up to me and asks me if I go in trouble. And I tell her what I told the teacher. She laughs and says stupid teachers.
After I get changed out I look at my schedule to see that I have study hall and then Latin for 7th. Lexi has study hall with me too.
