Ross POV

I couldn't sleep... I only thought about Max and how I wanted him to comeback. I didn't want Red anymore. I only needed Max.

I picked up my phone and dialed Max's number.
"Hello?"
"M-Max.."
"Yeah?"
"C-comeback...."
"....."
"M-max?"
"Bye." He hung up. I felt a tear slide down my chubby rosy cheeks.

Max POV

I answered my phone... "Ross Washington" it said.
"Hello?"
"M-Max?" He stuttered
"Yeah?"
"C-comeback..." My eyes widen. At first I want to but then I remember Red and Ross are together.
"..." I didn't say anything.
"M-Max?"
"Bye." I was instantly in a bad mood... I miss my Narwhal... I really do... And this is Adam's fault.

I got to Louisiana and went to my parents house.

"Hi mom! Hi dad!" I said as I entered through the door.
"Your back?"
"Yeah."

Ross POV

"Let's go to work!" Tim said as he opened my door.
"O-oh yeah.." I say snapping out of my thoughts. I slipped on some shoes over my socks and we left.

"Hey Red." I smiled.
"Hey Ross." He put his head on my shoulder. Only... This didn't feel right to me. I should be with max...
"Red... I still have feelings for Max..." I said. He lifted his head off my shoulder.
"Okay... It's okay, I mean.. He broke up with you.. So yeah.. You... And him... Y-yeah." He walked to his office and closed the door. I felt kind of bad but I knew it was the right thing to do.. For Max...

3 weeks later~

Max POV

I sat at home, waiting for Tina fb Ross to get back from work. I didn't really know what happened since I left but I figured I'd catch up later.

"Finally home!!" I heard as the door unlocked. I darted my eyes toward the door. There stood a surprised teary narwhal. 'R-Ross...'

"Hello...?" I waved. His smile turned to a frown. 'What? He didn't want to see me or something? He's the one that told me to comeback...' "What?"

"Oh hey.." He said as he walked to his room, head down. Avoiding any eye contact with me. I jumped up and grabbed his arm.

"Ross..." I turned him to me and kissed him. He looked at me, confused and almost scared. "W-what's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

Max... You shouldn't do this"
"Why shouldn't I?"
"Because...

I don't like you anymore.
