Diving deep and it's too cold
Letting it go but I feel numb
Subsiding like the waves of the sea
Intertwining with the wind of ocean breeze
I was seeping to the depths of despair
Sitting alone in an empty chair
The silence mocked me
My thoughts intoxicated my mind
And strands of time
Had begun to wind
Like a wheel pirouetting through the sliver of hope
There was nothing left to cry and mope
Nothing but the shimmering tears that flooded down my face
Wondering why I was such a disgrace
Now I lay here
Waiting for a cheer
