"I'm sorry, what?"
I choked on my words and grabbed my throat in emphasis. Now I wish he wouldn't of been such a pussy before and just killed me.
"You heard me kitty"
"No Ash please. I can't I have-"
"Look, I hate this as much as you do. But I have no choice"
Where was he going with this? Regardless, I nodded.
"So I'm telling you to go out and say goodbye to whoever you live with now"
"Why are you doing this?"
I cried and hit him, it didn't really affect him. He couldn't just expect me to drop my life for his pathetic gang.
"We have rules. Number one is no questions. I'll explain the rest later. But for now, go"
"If I don't come back?"
I knew I shouldn't of asked that, but surely Ash didn't really trust me.
"Let's get this straight"
He walked closer to me and whispered into my ear.
"If you don't come back, I will kill everything and everyone you love"
I flinched and squeezed my eyes shut to stop the tears.
"Do you fucking understand?"
No, not really. I don't understand why you want to rip me away from my family and home for your juvenile and stupid gang.
"Yes"
I breathed. More tears were building in my eyes.
Once Ash opened the door I ran out and straight home. I had to tell Uncle Damien. He had to help me.
"Uncle Damien!"
I cried out into our base, thinking that he'd come rushing out like he always did.
"Uncle Damien, help me please!"
I began to scream, but it was clear that no one was home.
He couldn't just get up and leave though. Why would he?
"Uncle Damien?"
My voice cracked as tears continued to stream from my glazed eyes.
Where was he? I ran around the base searching for any sort of clue to where he went.
Much to my disappointment, there was nothing.
"For fucks sake!"
I yelled angrily and kicked the kitchen table so hard one of its legs broke in half.
"Please"
I whispered before collapsing into a heap under the table top.
First Kala, then Uncle Damien, all in a week. Now I had to go join some retarded gang which I hate to pieces.
Now I had no choice, I had to go back to the Double Bats or who knows what those sick bastards would do.
As I raced across rooftops like I usually did, the streets began to seem awfully silent.
There was no gangs out, no people hunting, no body putting out washing or causing trouble.
Only a few old couples strolled down the roads.
Before I knew it I had stopped fully and was staring at an elderly man and woman. They each held large shot guns which, should of been a warning for me to run.
But I couldn't, they weren't from around here I had to know who they were.
"Look! Opal Look!"
The man screamed, frightening his companion so badly that she shot instantly at my leg.
She wasn't such a bad shot either.
I screamed out as a sharp stinging pain filled my body.
As fast as I could, I stumbled away from them.
What the actual fuck just happened?
My leg ached and I was bleeding out pretty badly.
"Help me! Please!"
I yelped once I reached the Double Bats base. My voice was sore and red tear marks stained my cheeks.
"Ash! Get Ash!"
Hunter called to his friends once I had collapsed on to the floor.
"Hey oh God, Please be okay"
He said, stroking my hair and holding me in his lap.
Another boy, his 'name' was killer, applied a lot of pressure on to my wounded leg.
The others rushed around, grabbing bandages and first aid kits.
The room slowly faded to black.
