Reasoning + summary (apples to both covers):
Leah Summers has been told more times than she can count that the best way to beat the bullies is to ignore them, and stay strong. So that's what she does. She puts up a strong front, hearing the insults and remarks, but trying her hardest not to react to them. Instead, she absorbs herself in her studies. She has continued this for so long, that no one really knows the real Leah, not even her own family. The only thing that she will truly pour her heart out to is her small notebook, which she keeps by her bed. Some may say that it is a diary; but most diaries don't contain tear splashes, grief and sorrow.
That's what Leah's book is filled with- her raw thoughts. Everything that she is feeling, what people say, and short quotes to try and cheer herself up.
So what happens when she drops the notebook at school- and someone else picks it up?

On my cover, I decided to have this notebook, as I would imagine the story to revolve around it. I wanted to have quite a simple feel to the cover, so I asked if I would be allowed to remove the background. As the answer was yes, I turned both images into pngs and positioned them how I liked.
