Chapter 15

Yang's POV
She's back! My Blakey's back! The doctor has discharged her and she's coming home today! Well, back to the dorm... Which I guess is our home. I'm ecstatic to have her back! It's been so long since we've all been together, Team RWBY, in our own room.

"She'll need to take it easy for the next few weeks, but I have no doubts at all that you won't be taking good care of her." The doctor smiles brightly as she explains to me that I also need to take it slow, and not get into any crazy situations. Has she met Team RWBY?

I chuckle a response. "Of course!" Once all the discharge forms are signed, we're allowed to leave.

Blake's POV
The blonde bouncing next to me as I walk through the halls of Beacon looks like a child who's just been told they're on their way to the funfair. "Someone's happy." I note with a grin.

I feel her fingers tangle with mine. "Absolutely! I have you back!"

"I never went."

Her smile falters, but reappears no soon than it went. "You know what I mean." She rolls her eyes. "Besides-" She pulls me closer; I can feel that familiar warmth radiating off her - the same warmth which I've come to love. "-This is the first time we'll be..."

"Together-together?" I finish.

This brings an enormous grin to her face and we laugh. "Together-together not in a medical wing!"

Finally, we round the corner and step into the corridor in which our dorm is situated. Yang takes out her scroll and opens the door. "After you, Miss Belladonna." She bows with a wink.

I snort. "Why thank you, Miss Xiao Long." With that I make my way into the dorm, only to nearly be floored by a hyperactive red.

"BLAKE! YOU'RE HOOOOOOOOME!" Ruby cheers as she hugs me tightly. Admittedly, not as spine-crushing as Yang's hugs, but you can tell they're related.

Weiss stomps over to us as Yang shuts the door. "Ruby! She'll end up back in the medical wing if you don't be careful!" She huffs.

Ruby stumbles back away from me and offers me a sheepish smile whilst she rubs the back of her head. "Sorry, Blake."

I laugh. "It's fine, Ruby."

"Welcome back, Blake." Weiss smiles as she gently embraces me.

"Thanks, Weiss."

Stepping back, I almost trip over the girl behind me. Looping an arm over my shoulders, she grins. "Wow guys, you did a real great job in here!"

Yang's POV
Whilst myself and Blake have been in the medical wing, Ruby and Weiss have been working their butts off fixing the dorm back up. That meant, replacing beds, turning them into bunk beds once more, scrubbing the carpets and walls, and repainting.

Weiss sighs. "Anything for our team mates."

I smile at her. "Aw, you guys are the best!" Lunging forwards I wrap the red and white duo in my other arm and pull them close.

"Ah, Yang! You golden oaf!" Weiss shoots as her face is pushed against Ruby's.

Blake chuckles as we watch a flustered Ruby and a blushing Weiss flail in my arm. Pressing a kiss to Blake's temple, I release all three of them. Weiss stumbles away whilst Ruby stays close to me.

"Dammit, Ruby!" Weiss curses as she turns away from us to hide her embarrassment.

Ruby whines, "How come I get the blame?! It wasn't me who squished you!" She turns to me with a pout whilst pointing at me accusingly. "You've been here less than five minutes and you're already getting me into trouble!"

I giggle. "Oh, it's good to be back, sis!"

Blake's POV
After the hugging fiasco, we all settle down to have a catch up: it seems we've missed quite a bit.

"Finally! The ladykiller's realised Pyrrha is crazily into him!" Yang hypes. "How'd he get the courage to do it?"

Weiss sighs, "That's another story entirely."

"And you say Ren and Nora kissed?" I wonder.

Ruby nods. "Yup! It was super cute! You guys missed a lot." She giggles.

Smirking, Yang leans forwards from her seat on my bed next to me. I know exactly what's coming next. "So, what's the situation with you two?"

The two faces before us turn pink as their eyes go wide and they straighten-up. "Yang." I warn.

"What? They're a pair of adorable little dorks, of course they should be together!" She squeals.

Weiss releases a slow breath. "Lets just say, your little 'incident' has brought us closer than we've ever been before."

Ruby grins awkwardly. "Yeah! Closer!"

This causes Weiss to shoot her a glare. "Exactly." The younger girl seals her lips before she can let something she shouldn't say slip.

There's a moment of a silence before Yang's laughter barks out. "You two are the cutest!"

A realisation seems to hit Ruby as she springs off Weiss' bed to a standing position. "Oh! Yang! I was meant to tell you! Dad sent us a letter!" She pulls out a white envelope from her draws. "I haven't opened it yet, because I wanted to open it together. It only came two days ago!"

She hands Yang the white envelope and they open it. The pair read the words to themselves before Yang jumps up. "Aw yes! If this arrived two days ago and on the letter it says a week, our parcel should arrive in five days!"

Ruby jumps extravagantly into the air whilst yelling, "ZWEI'S COMING BACK!"
