Blake's POV
"Blake." I hear someone whisper. "Blake!" I begin to stare from my slumber, instantly recognising the voice. My eyes fall upon the blonde. Violet eyes shimmer down at me as the moonlight bounces off them perfectly. My night vision gives me the ability to see my golden angel much better in the low light. I could gaze at her forever and a day if I could...

I chance a glance at the clock on my bedside table and groan quietly, careful not to wake the other two residents of the Team RWBY dorm. "Yang, it's half two in the moring! What could you possibly want?" I turn away from her and snuggle further into my covers.

She changes her weight from foot to foot (if my hearing serves me correctly); she seems tense... That's not right: Yang's never tense. "I was just wondering if you wanted to come somewhere with me... Not right now, of course. At about... Six maybe?"

Turning back around to face her, I smile. "I'd love too, Yang."

My smile grows even wider as I watch the child in a teenage girl's body beam like an idiot. "Okay!" Instead of moving to go back to sleep she just stands there staring.

"... Is there anything else?" I wonder, knowing the girl all too well.

She shakes her head. "Should there be?" The confusion in her voice almost kills me.

I sit up. "Well, you did wake me three and a half hours before you planned on us going out." I chuckle softly.

Smiling sheepishly, she rubs the back of her neck. "I just wanted to make sure you were prepared?" Unfortunately for her, her words came out in more of a question than an answer.

Amused, I shake my head. "Did you want a cuddle?"

Eyes wide, she looks down at me a little miffed, like she truly believes I read her mind. She drops her head. "Yes..."

With a quiet giggle, I open up the covers, inviting her into the space next to me. She looks up, eyes gleaming with happiness as she cuddles up next to me, arms instantly wrapping around the other's waist.

Yang's POV
It actually scares me how much Blake knows me - it's like she can read my mind! I wonder if that's a secret talent of hers...

Just as I'm about to lose consciousness in the arms of my Blakey, she says my name which I barely catch. "Yang?"

"Yeah?" I reply with spirit, my eyes still closed.

I feel her fidget in my arms. "I love you."

Without missing a beat I smile. "I love you too, Blakey." Still with my eyes closed, I press my lips to the top of her head.

"Really?" Blake sighs.

Her question causes me to snap my eyes open and look at her. Of course I love her! I love her with all my heart! I peer down to find amber eyes searching my own eyes - a glint of worry etching its way into her features. "Blake." I breathe. "I love you more than my hair." This causes her to gasp and I chuckle softly. "Good night, Blake." I whisper into her midnight tresses.

"Good night, Yang."

Morning
The sun's rays slither their way through the cracks in the curtains as my eyes flutter open. Before anything else, I realise I can't move - instantly I know why. My gaze drifts down to find a sleeping kitty curled up in my arms. "Morning, Blakey." I murmur as I place a kiss to her forehead. The girl I addressed begins to stir.

"Mmm, Yang." She groans as she rubs her eyes lazily. "What time is it? Go back to sleep."

I chuckle. She's never been much of a morning person. "It's 5:30. Remember, we're going out in half an hour."

She sighs, causing me to laugh some more. "Where could you possibly want to go at this ridiculous time in the morning?"

"It's a surprise." I grin, pecking her on the nose. "Now, get your lazy butt out of bed and start getting ready."

The arms around my waist tighten. "Nooooo!" She cries groggily. "Five more minutes."

Shaking my head, I slip out of her grip. "Whoa, no. When you tell us to leave you for five more minutes you rise from the dead an hour later!"

"You should wake me five minutes later then." She grumbles.

Messing her hair up (if it could get any messier) I stroll to my draws, careful not to wake the remaining members of our team. I squeal silently. There before me, lay my little sister in Weiss' bed, cuddled up with the Ice Queen herself! Internally screaming, I scurry into the bathroom, my clothes in hand.

Blake's POV
Inhumane noises erupting from the blonde forces me to sit up and glare at her. It's way too early for this nonsense. I finally realise what she's flapping about. Ruby and Weiss were tangled in each other's arms in the lower bunk fast asleep. The oldest of the pair even wore a slight smile as she breathed softly.

I watch intently, as my partner toddles off into the bathroom, a daft smile playing about her features. I can tell she can barely contain herself. Finally, with all the effort in the universe, I haul myself out of bed and slowly make my way over to my draws where I keep my clothes. To my surprise, they're already laid out on top of the cupboard. Yang's so thoughtful - one of the many reasons why I love her so much. My heart skips a beat spreading a sensation of warmth all around my body at the thought of the fiery girl. The things that girl does to me! Yang Xiao Long.

I sigh in content. Too lost in my thoughts, I fail to notice the girl on my mind had emerged from the bathroom, clad in her usual outfit and is now standing right in front of me. "Blake? Is everything okay?"

This causes a bright red blush to glow across my cheeks. "Everything's fine!" I reassure as I dash past the confused girl.

Yang's POV
Welp, she may confuse me at times, but there's nothing that girl can do to make me love her any less than I already do.

As I wait for her to finish up in the bathroom, my mind wonders back to Ruby and Weiss. Why would Weiss want to keep it such a secret? I know Ruby isn't the type to keep things bottled up, so it must be Weiss who doesn't want to go public... Eh, it's their relationship, everyone's different. I shrug at my own thoughts. Zwei will be here in a few days; now, Blake may not be too fond of him, but I sure know myself, Ruby and even Weiss are estatic. I'm sure she'll accept him one day, I muse.

A click at the bathroom door drags me from my own little world. "Blake!" I cheer quietly. I take her hand in my own and smile at her. "Ready to go?"

"Ready."
