^^^^^ Raven in his hoody!!

Chapter five

Hours passed, and Raven could no longer remain calm, that doctor should have been done by now! What is taking so long? He ran his hair through his very distressed hair and he paced the hall in front of the door.

After what seemed like eternity, the door swung open, reveaing a tired doctor. Raven ceased his pacing and rushed to the doctor with desperate eyes. "How is she? Will she be alright? Is she awake? When can I see her?" He pumbled the poor doctor with questions.

The doctor stood patiently, waiting for the young, flustered prince to settle before speaking. "The young lady had received quite a beating, if I do say so my self, my lord. From my examination, I have concluded that she has a concussion and some minor internal bleeding. Though, luckilly, I have managed to put a damper on the internal bleeding." He explained slowly. The prince sighed in minor relief at the fact that progress was being made. After a short pause the doctor continued, "I have stimmed the bleeding enough that it should, hopefully die down on its own. As for her concussion, it will have to heal it's self. Make sure that she doesn't make any sudden movements, refrain from jolting her more then you need to, and physical activity is definitely not ideal at the moment, in fact refrain from it just to be safe. And above all, make sure she doesn't hit her head." He gave a small bow before gathering his belongings in his small medical satchel. "Make sure she gets plenty of rest. Her body has just been through an ordeal, it needs time to heal it's self. Keep her in bed for at least a week. I will be back in a bit to check on her once more. You may be at her side, your majesty." He informs the prince before leaving the building.

Raven didn't need to be told twice, he rushed to her side and seised her small, pale hand in his. After almost an hour of just staring at her he released her hand and leaned back in the window seat only a foot and a half away from his bed where Tatum lay. Tatum was the only woman to ever be in his bed, and always will be for every night to come.

As a teenager, Raven had become a man whore, he often slept around. If only to satisfy the craving for his beloved Tatum who remained blissfully unaware of his existence worlds away from him. None of his conquests had ever stepped foot in his chamber, he took them elsewhere to bed them. This room was sacred, it was only for him and his queen, his one and only love.

Not wanting to seem odd, he picked up a book from a the nearby shelf and flipped it open. As he let the words move him to another place, he thought about the angel laying in the bed feet away from him.
