Weeaboos...

Okay... This subject is very touchy to some anime/ manga fans. But I'm just gonna get it off my chest...

BEING A WEEABOO IS NOT OKAY!

A weeaboo, basically, is a person who wants to BECOME a Japanese person SO MUCH that they diss their own culture and heritage in attempt to become a Japanese person!
Weeaboos are VERY disrespectful to the Japanese culture, as they attempt to speak the Japanese language, but usually mispronounce the words. Weeaboos often think that ALL that Japan is is anime, manga, video games, and sushi.
So next time you refer to yourself as a 'weeaboo', think back to what that word really means! It is referred to as a VERY negative name to call yourself, and is very looked down upon in Japan. PLEASE refer to yourself as an otaku, as this means someone who takes interest in anime and manga, but is respectful and mindful of the Japanese culture and heritage.
