Let me get this straight. I read books (not including manga and Marvel/ DC comics) whenever the following happens:
•There are no anime recommendations for me
• I have read all of my manga AT LEAST three times through and I can't go to the Book Store
•I'm not sketching SOMETHING anime
•Blue Bloods is not on my crappy no- cable TV (yeah, I have about 17 channels on my satellite TV)
So yeah. This is why I'm reading this book. And...it's pretty freaking awesome! Should I give you a summary? Oh... So you don't give a care about the fabulous world of books? Eh, I don't blame you...
But I don't really care what you think. I wanna write a summary, so that's what I'll do! So here goes:
A guy named Robert Langdon is a renowned symbolist. He knows many things about his profession, has wrote a few textbooks, and gives many lectures on the topic of symbology to universities and many places throughout the world. At the beginning of this story, he is on a business trip in Paris, France. After giving a lecture to a French University, a meeting was arranged with a famous ideologist and 'sacred feminine' symbol bigwig, Jacques Saunière. But, mysteriously, Mr. Saunière never shows up, and Langdon returns to his hotel. A call is placed to his hotel room, and surprising news is given to him. Has Jacques Saunière pulled Langdon into something way over his head, containing religious cults, symbols galore, and a naked man with a sacred feminine symbol painted from blood on his chest!? If you like art, symbology, or religious conspiracy stuff, this may be a book for you!
Well, I hope I got at least one of you book readers out there interested! Thanks for reading.
See ya!
