You lay  down your syringes near the sink and let them dry. The lab seemed nice but it was quiet with only you and Reed in it. God knows what the others were doing but apparently they weren't to existed to have needles dug into their skin and take tests.

"I am thinking blood test, physical test but are we going to try anything mental? I mean our brains don't seem to have changed that much. You and I are still Brilliant. Ben is still kind. Johnny's still flirtatious. And Sue's still feminine. So It's your call. But mine's a no."

"I don't think so. Besides the storm only gave us physical deferences so maybe it only affected our body."

Technically, your brain is in your body. You almost said but you decided to be quiet and you turned to face Reed. He shrugged and continued:

"My call's also a no. So that makes it unanimous."

"Great. So who do we start with?"

"I was thinking you. Sue's just got out of the shower and is taking with Victor."

You interrupted him a confused look on your face: "Victor's here? Did he experience any side effects?"

"No side effects but he seems to have a huge scar on his forehead."

"Great, I don't like his methods." You answered as you put the items you would need for a blood test in front of you.

"Delighting in someone's misfortune isn't very kind of you, (y/n)."Reed said in a totally physiological way.

You tucked your hair behind your ear and said: "Kindness is definitely something I don't owe Mr. Van Doom. I never liked that guy."

"You are a great judge of character." Reed said and you couldn't help but smirk.

"Come on, I'll start with the blood test." You dabbed some modified alcohol on your skin and then plugged the needle into your skin. You could feel your heartbeat getting more and more distinct as the tube filled with a scarlet liquid.

"Do you have any idea how we're going to test my teleportation abilities?" You asked Reed as you pulled the syringe out of your skin.

"Not really. I just thought I could tell you to teleport as far as you can. See if you can teleport with obstacles in the way and see if you can teleport up and down. But that's it really."

"That sounds like a plan to me." You answered as you put a plaster on your 'wound'. You placed the blood in the syringe into tubes and cleaned the syringe.

You placed all the blood samples on a test tube holder and put next to Reed.

"Where do I start?" You tried to meet Reed's gaze but he was already examining the blood.

"Um...Hmm." Reed hummed than looked at you quizzically. You rolled your eyes and repeated:

"Never mind I leave the report on your desk when I am done."

You walked over to the other side of the room and placed yourself in front of a telescope. When I mean telescope, I mean huge. Not like the small things you can buy on-line. I am talking; self made, four meters long, eye into space. You didn't need to concentrate. You just eased your muscles to relax that let one thought remain in your brain: 'Forwards. Just in front of the microscope.'

Next thing you knew you were in front of the telescope. You grabbed a paper and wrote down: pass obstacles: check

A frustrating cry came from the higher space of the apartment. You grabbed the piece of paper and stuffed it into your jacket pocket. You willed yourself to get to the higher flaw. You had just realised that when you teleported no noise could be heard. Not like in movies or whatever. It was silent and instant.

Someone bumped into you. Your head hit the floor hard.

"Ow."

"Are you alright? I'm so sorry. I could've sworn the hallway was empty."

You opened your eyes to see Johnny.... with only a towel around his waist and looking hot. You shock that thought out of your mind. He extended his hand and helped you up. His hands immediately went to your head to see if you were alright.

"It was."

"What?"

"The hallway; it was empty."

"Right." He walked to your side and looked you in the eye. "But you didn't answer my first question."

"wait a sec. No headache. No vomiting or nausea. Balance is fine. I think I'm okay. "

"Right." He raised an eyebrow at you that put his hands to your hips and led you to the nearest room and sat you on the bed. "Because blabbaling about balance and vomiting is totally normal." He rolled his eyes.

" I was checking for a concussion. Jeez." You said  then looking around the room; it was neat. Nothing seemed to be out of place. Probably because there wasn't enough time too..."Whose room is this anyway?"

"Mine. Or at least the one I am using. Do you mind if I change?"

"Why would I mind?" You asked. Then as soon as you crossed his gaze you guessed that he had seen you briefly checking him out in the corridor. "No. I don't."

Johnny gave you a smile that could blind anyone and walked towards his closet. He pulled out his clothes; it's hard to tell what the clothes were. You averted your gaze and prepared yourself to leave.

"I'll leave. " you said quickly but before you couldn't stand up to go Johnny said: "I just gonna change in the bathroom. Stay."

"Why?"

"Because I have something important I would like to ask you" Johnny answered. He turned around and signalled for you to stay then walked towards what you guessed was his bathroom.

"I'm not a dog." You called after him.

"No, but you're a woman therefore to be woed." Johnny called back.

You sat on his bed and scrible a few words  on the test sheet: Teleport to higher grounds: check

You crossed your arms as you waited for Johnny to come back. True you were tempted to take off but after thinking it through thoroughly you sat on the bed patiently for Johnny Storm to come back.
