The nurse looked extremely shocked at my question. She didn't even move. She just stood there with wide eyes starring at me. I started to feel a bit uncomfortable.

"Uhhh. I'll be right back, let me get the doctor." The women practically ran out of the room.

'who is levy? why did she call me that? what is wrong with me?'

I just laid there and tried to be calm about this situation. I didn't understand anything that was going on around me.

'i haven't understood a single thing since i woke up'

After about five minutes I heard whispers right outside my door. I couldn't make out what they were saying but I could hear the worry in who ever was whispering's voice. Only a couple seconds later a doctor came in with a confused face. He sat down at the edge of the bed and opened his mouth but nothing came out. He closed his mouth and looked down and mumbled something out of earshot.

"Do you know who you are?" The man asked.

"N-No." I replied with a shaky voice.

For some reason I felt really nervous around the doctor.

"Tell me the last thing you remember." He told me sternly.

"W-Well I remember waking up in an a-alley and seeing all these scars and bruises on m-myself." I said in almost a whisper.

"What happened after that? What was the last thing you remember?" He replied in a very serious tone that kind of made me jump.

"I went o-out and it started to r-rain so I needed to go into the woods so I w-wouldn't get a cold. Then something chased m-me and I started running. Then I f-fell and hit my head and I guess I b-blacked out." I stammered.

He just nodded his head and wrote something down in a clipboard he was carrying.

"Your name is Levy McGarden. You were born into a loving family. You were always a healthy kid. All of a sudden 2 weeks ago you and your family left without a trace. No one knew where you were or where you had gone." He said with concern in his eyes.

That took me by surprise. All I could do at that moment was to just sit and think it over.

'my parents.'

"W-What happened to my parents?" I managed to squeak

He looked down and sighed then looked back up to me.

"We don't know where they are or what happened to them." He muffled almost inaudible

My heart sank. I felt tears coming but I held them back because I didn't want to cry in front of the doctor.

"I'm really sorry Levy. I've been your doctor ever since you were born. Me and your dad were best friends since high school. I'll leave you alone so you can take it all in. If you need anything push that button." He then pointed to a gray button on a table right beside the bed.

Once he closed the door I broke out into sobs. Crying to much I almost lost my breath. I felt so empty and lonely. I don't even remember them but they are still my parents. Looking down at the white sheets and crying my eyes out I suddenly saw an image. An image of a women smiling. A women with blue hair wearing an orange dress.

'my mother'

I smiled. But just as fast as the image was there, it was gone. My smile faded and I felt that emptiness again.

I cried until I didn't have any tears left. The silk blankets below me were soaked. I decided to ask for some water because I didn't want to get dehydrated. I slowly but surely moved my arm to reach for the little gray button and pushed it.

Click.

Soon after a nurse came rushing in.

"Are you alright Ms.McGarden?!" She asked worriedly.

"Yes I-I'm fine. I would just l-like some water if thats o-ok." I barely spat out.

"Oh! Ok thats fine I will be right back!" The nurse seemed less worried and kind of relived.

After the nurse left I looked down at the white sheet again and thought about the women I saw in my mind.

'my mother'

This thought tugged away at my mind needing an answer.

'i mean.... i don't know for sure but..... i just have this feeling that she is'

Just as I was about to believe my thought, the nurse came in with a tall glass of water.

"Here you go!" She said with a smile while handing me the glass of water.

I almost coked on that water. I had no idea how thirsty I was. Who knows how long I have been without water. Once I finished I put the empty glass on the table beside me.

"Thank you" I was able to say without shaking.

"Your welcome dear! Oh and I almost forgot!" The nurse said while leaning towards me a bit.

"Someone wants to see you."
