Chapter 11

I hadn't had any sleep for the past week. Ever since I went to my house. I just couldn't stop thinking about 'The Dragon' and what that meant. I researched over and over but, nothing. I was currently on the computer going to various websites. I had been on the computer for 2 hours already but I wasn't going to give up.

Gajeel offered to stay home and help me but I refused. I knew he loved his job and I wasn't going to ruin it. I was on a website when I saw an ad for a ride called, "The Monster Dragon" I jumped up in excitement. I mean, it wasn't 'The Dragon' but it was close! I immediately looked at the address, then I put it on google maps. I was only 40 minutes away!

I heard the door open and loud footsteps. Then, I saw Gajeel standing in the doorway. I checked my watch. "It's only 3:00 Gajeel. You leave work at 4:40." I said sternly. He chuckled awkwardly.

I didn't have time to argue with him because of my findings. "Guess what?" I asked him. He looked kind of taken back by my mood swing but replied with, "What Shrimp?" I smiled. "I found a new ride called 'The Monster Dragon' that's only 40 minutes away.

I know it's not 'The Dragon' but it's pretty close!" I exclaimed. He gave me a faint smile. "That's great! Let's go right now" He said. "Now?" I asked, confused. I didn't think he would want to leave s quickly. "Sure" He said shrugging his shoulders and going down stairs. I squealed and grabbed my backpack. I raced down the stairs and Gajeel had his keys in hand.

The drive there was both nerve wracking and exciting. I couldn't help but feel both. It felt like an eternity but we finally got there. It was located in a small carnival with only a couple rides and booths.

Even though it was new, it looked pretty rundown and old. It only took me a couple seconds to find 'The Dragon' because the place was pretty small. Once I spotted it, I went over to it. It was a small roller coaster that probably lasted about 30 seconds. The cart, was in the shape of a dragon and the tracks looked like flames. The ride itself looked like something a two year old would ride.

I took my backpack off of my shoulders so I could retrieve the note we found at my old home. Once I got it I walked over to the guy running the ride. The man had dirt blonde hair and was wearing a uniform which was white with red stripes. "Excuse me?" I said. He looked up. "Yeah" He said. "I was wondering if you've ever seen this" I said showing him the note. He looked at it for a second then replied with, "Never seen it" I stared blankly at him.

"Are you sure because-" I was cute off by him saying, "Lady I've never seen it before in my life so stop bothering me" I was taken back by his rude attitude. "Excuse me? Who do you think you're talking to I-" I was cut off again by him saying, "What are you going to do about it huh? You're like the shortest thing I've ever seen! And I bet you can't even pick up a chair without help. Plus, no guy would ever want you. So go home and play with your dolls sweetheart" Tears filled my eyes.

Just then I saw a large arm grab the guy's collar and pick him up by it. "What did you say to her?" Gajeel said through clenched teeth. "P-Put me d-down man!" The guy screamed. Gajeel growled. I went over to him and touched his arm. "Gajeel, don't start anything" I said calmly trying to hold back tears.

"L-Listen to your g-girlfriend bro" He said. "Shut up! And don't ever," Gajeel said tightening his grip "ever talk to Levy like that again. Do you understand?" The guy was shaking so much I almost felt bad for him. Almost. "Y-Yeah man just let m-me go!" He said. Gajeel let go and the guy fell to the floor. "Idiot" Gajeel said glaring at him. He then turned to me. He was staring at me with concern in his eyes.

I just stared blankly at him. I grabbed his head, pulled it down to my height and smashed my lips against his. A rush of energy went through me. He was shocked for a second, which made me nervous but then started to kiss back. The whole world seemed to freeze. He picked me up by my legs and I wrapped them around him which deepened the kiss. I didn't want to stop but I had to come up for air.

When we pulled apart Gajeel stared blankly at me and I bit my lip. "I've been wanting to do that...." I said while looking down. Gajeel took one of his hands that wasn't holding me up and cupped my chin.

He pulled my head up. "I'm glad you did" I started blush uncontrollably. He put me down and held out his hand. I took it and we started walking towards the car. Once we got to it he said, "Sorry it didn't work out Shrimp. We'll keep looking" I looked at him. "This turned out great" I said smiling. He smiled too. He leaned in and we kissed for only a second then he started the car.

The entire car ride I couldn't stop glancing over at him. I wanted to kiss him so badly again. He was, after all, my first kiss. I didn't know kissing someone could feel that good. At least, not until now. Unlike that ride over there, this car ride seemed to last seconds.

I guess because my mind was going 100 miles per hour. When we got into the house Gajeel scratched the back of his head. "Do you want to watch a movie?" He asked. I smiled. "Of course" I replied. "Ok, I'm going to go change" He said walking towards the stairs. "Ok!" I exclaimed.

After a couple minutes, Gajeel came down wearing a white tank top with gray jeans. I stared at his tank top because it outlined his six pack. He just smirked. I shook my head and blushed violently. I walked over to the couch and grabbed the remote.

Gajeel sat night to me and put his arm around me. I blushed even more. "What do you want to watch?" I asked him. "Whatever you want, Shrimp" He said. I picked a random movie. The genre was action so I was pretty sure he would like it. Midway into the movie Gajeel asked, "So.....are we a couple now?" He looked kind of nervous. "I guess we are" I said smiling. He smiled and leaned down. Our lips connected and I was sent to another world.

Helllllllllo! AHHHHH they finally kissed! WOOOP WOOOP! *confetti goes everywhere* Sorry I haven't updated in almost a week : ( I had a Disney trip (which was really fun btw) so I couldn't update, but I have now! Like I said in my other story "Counting the Days" I have 7 more days of school then it's summer!! I'll be able to write soooooo much more AND I'll be starting some new stories (wink wink nudge nudge) I'm actually planning a collab story with my best friend which is going to be awesome!!
