The Makeup Artist (Norman Reedus)

Half Day

Georgia was in the midst of a early heatwave, causing set backs during filming for the remaining scenes, Louise and Mia could see the makeup on the cast and extras sliding off them in the sweltering sun. "It is too hot" Louise moaned fanning herself with a magazine, Mia got in behind her fanning so she could feel some , if any cool air! "So who knows about baby so far?" Mia asked, "just you, Greg and Norman, havent quite gotten round to telling the boys yet but we will.....definitely before the wedding" Louise replies with her hands shielding her eyes from the sun. Mia's phone kept beeping "Sean?" Louise mouthed to her while Mia gave a cheeky smirk. Louise laughed.

"Urgh lets finish early, they dont need us" Mia sighed looking around at filming starting to wrap up. Norman and Andrew were still on set talking to each other Louise could see. "Eh why not?" She replied shrugging her shoulders, "ooh hang on" Louise spoke through gritted teeth as she held her stomach briefly causing Mia to stop and drop her bag to tend to Louise "what what what!" Mia hollered holding Louise's arm as she began walking again "just a twinge, had them with Liam....funny what you forget when you are pregnant again" Louise said reassuring Mia.

They headed for the mall for some retail therapy, Mia dragging Louise into all the baby stores so they could coo over the little baby clothes "we are doing this the wrong way round, we should be looking at wedding dresses" Louise said as Mia threw all sorts of baby clothes under her nose saying "awww" to it all. "Okay we will go there next.....oh my god booties!!" Mia cried out getting distracted with all the baby stuff.

After basically batting the baby clothes and socks from Mia's hands, Louise finally got to the wedding dress store, walking up all the dresses hanging on the rails, Louise felt like a kid in a candy store. There was so much to choose from! "I want like a short one...no long...i dont know!" Louise fussed not being able to make her mind up. The assistant offered her help, asking Louise when her wedding was "well we havent set a date..." Mia cut her off "she is pregnant so she wants to not be a fat bride" she said bluntly causing the assistant to laugh to herself . "Only just pregnant so i have a few months" Louise argued, "im going to go try some on, get a feel for what i like" she added heading into the changing rooms.

Louise tried on long, short, fishtail, bandeau, halter-neck dresses while Mia gave her opinion on each one. Louise could tell she was messaging Sean in between her dress changes, she wondered what was going on there when suddenly another shooting twinge took her breath away. Managing to compose herself ,Louise settled on a bandeau prom style wedding dress.

Heading back home after a successful shopping trip Louise felt the pain shoot through her again. "Fuck sake Lou lets go to the hospital thats the third times today!" Mia snapped turning the car around towards the medical centre "second actually" Louise mumbled trying to justify herself "THIRD!" Mia snapped back "you had one in the wedding dress store!" Mia told Louise. "Mi, its a twinge, you cant go hospital for every twinge, when you have a baby you will know" Louise explained exacerbated with all the fuss. "Fine, get you checked out and ill back off" Mia shrugged knowing you had the upper hand and Louise being a passenger couldnt exactly go anywhere.

Sitting in the waiting room Louise went to phone Norman to explain where she was, "no dont, you will just worry him" Mia said holding her phone. "Just wait and see what the nurse says and then if its nothing ill admit i was being dramatic" Mia says with a smile. "Miss Fuller..?" The nurse called out. "Hold my stuff" Louise asks Mia as she goes into the room.

The nurse offered Louise a spot on the bed and asked her to raise her top so she could apply the ultrasound jelly to her stomach. "Your friend did the right thing bringing you in, its better to be safe than sorry" the nurse explained, she obviously saw Louise giving Mia a hard time in the waiting room. Breathing as the cold jelly was applied Louise said "i had twinges like this with my first born on and off..." Pausing when she realised the nurse wasnt listening to her and was fixated with the screen showing Louise's womb. "I was actually in and out of these rooms my first trimester with every twinge, you scare yourself sometimes and--" she was cut off by the nurse "Miss Fuller, im just going to call my colleague in, nothing to worry about just sometimes the screen plays up" the nurse explained and motioned in another nurse. Louise was starting to get a bit anxious now. After what felt like an eternity the other nurse finally spoke "Miss Fuller, im very sorry, it seems you have lost your baby" this caused Louise to sit up, "but im not bleeding" Louise whispered in shock, "that will come im afraid, the twinges you have been receiving are indicators that it is imminent, your blood tests we took earlier show low levels of HCG hormone" the nurse carefully explained. Louise looked at her stomach, "when..." Was all she could say "in early pregnancies it is quite common, you get painful cramps, and then eventually the bleeding will start, there is no explanation when it is this early on, im so very sorry"

Walking out of the room she saw Mia stand up and smile to her "everything okay?" She asked concerned handing Louise her bag. Louise kept walking, she wasnt even sure if she was heading the right way or where the car was parked. "Lou!" Mia called to her. Turning round to Mia she could see her waiting for her to tell her what was happening. "I....i'm...i lost it" Louise stuttered, still in shock. Mia ran to her and gave her a hug causing Louise to break down in her arms.

"Can you take me home" Louise said, trying to pull herself together. "Of course. Anything" Mia said helping her in the car. They drove in silence the whole way home, felt like the longest drive. Louise fiddled with her ring from Norman and wondered what to say to him.

Entering the house, Eyes ran inside with her, he must of been hanging around outside for the day and decided now he wanted to go home. Liam came in full of excitement about an upcoming skiing trip he wanted to go on, putting on her best smile Louise made him something to eat as Norman came in. Wrapping his arms around Louise as she wrote out the permission slip he whispered "how are my babies doing?" Implying her and the baby. The baby she no longer had.
