The Makeup Trailer

Louise laid out her brushes and makeup along with the sfx makeup with her team, Joshua and Mia, they had been assigned work on The Walking Dead a new tv series on AMC.

"Is that everything from the truck?" Louise asks Joshua. He nodded. "Its just a waiting game now" Mia added as she swung around in the chair. The actors/extras will be in soon.

And not long after a few came bundling in, they were all so friendly, Andrew Lincoln was assigned to Joshua, Sarah Wayne Callies to Louise and Mia had Jon Bernthal. Now with it being the first season they didnt need too much, just a bit of dirt and grease here and there and Sarah was pleased to be allowed some blush and mascara being the apocalypse had pretty much just begun.

"I must say im a huge fan of the comic book series so i cant wait to see it on the screen!" Louise told Sarah, Louise found working on actors its best to not treat them as such at the end of the day they were people like her just doing a job and they quite liked 'normal' talk.

"Ive only read the first two comic books" Sarah explained to Louise. "Ill lend you my copies im quite up to date...and a bit of a geek" Louise replied with a giggle.

The assistant came in and called the actors to set and they said their goodbyes and left the trailer. "Imma go get some coffee i think, you guys want ?" Louise asked. "Yess!" Joshua and Mia said in unison.

Louise stepped out of the trailer and headed to the coffee cart, wearing her wet look leggings, white converse and denim shirt with her blonde hair tied up in a messy bun. She was checking her messages on her phone and was too busy paying her attention to it and crashed into a man, "OH MY GOD! I AM SO SO SORRY!" She exclaimed, the man laughed "its fine, hey i thought women could multi task?" He responded with a smirk. "You the makeup girl?" He added. "Sure am, well when im not crashing into people" Louise replied with a bit of sarcasm. The man laughed and held out his hand to shake "im Norman" he told her, "Louise" she replied. "Well ill be in there later" Norman replied motioning to the makeup trailer. "Well ill see you then Norman" Louise replied with a fake curtsey. Norman smiled and went off towards set.

' he was nice' Louise thought, she has come across some pig of actors in her past but most of the time they were friendly.

On her return with the coffees, Joshua and Mia got called to set to work on some zombie extras that needed touching up and Louise sat down and played on her phone and waited for the next load of actors to come in. Realising she had some time she decided to phone her ex partner James Franco and see how their son Liam was.

"Hey James! How are you? How is Liam getting on today?" louise asked, her and James ended on good terms, well sort of, he did have an affair with a playboy bunny but over the years they have stayed friends for Liam and it was so much easier that way for birthdays and Christmases etc. "Hey Lou, yea yea he is good, just dropped him at his friends, picking him up later, you still good to have him this weekend?" He asked over the phone. "Yea yea of course ill text you nearer the time yea? Bye!" And she put the phone down, turning round she saw Norman standing in the doorway of the trailer. "Oh im so sorry" Louise said flustered putting her phone frantically in her bag. Motioning Norman to sit down "just sorting out child care" she added with a sarcastic eye roll. Norman looked at her from the mirror "you have a child? You look way too young" he said in a bit of shock. "Aha well i was very young" Louise said and pretended to 'bow her head' in shame.

Norman still looking at her, "i was 17" she added. Norman nodded in a 'thats cool' way. Applying grease and dirt to him where he was meant to look like he had been out in wilderness for a while they chatted about work and how he also has a son a bit older than Liam and that he divides his time between him and his mum. "I think i know your son's mum, Helena isnt it? I worked on a Chanel campaign with her a few years ago. Gorgeous woman" Louise said continuing to apply brush strokes over his arms with grease "so your ex husband?--" "boyfriend" Louise corrected him, "does he have Liam while you do this?" Louise nodded, "well not all the time there are times when his work conflicts with mine so that can be quite stressful but hey ho!" Louise explained. "I dont know if you know him but he is also an actor. James Franco?"

Norman nodded and said "yea ive heard of him, never met him"

"Well i think you are all done here" Louise said , walking around the chair to see her work. Norman stood up and held out his hand to give Louise a "high five" and he left the trailer.

'He was actually quite fit' Louise thought.

The rest of the day Louise and the team went from trailer to set applying retouches on the actors and the extras, speaking to the actors who they had met that day, made it all easier, it was a nice fun atmosphere even in the sweltering Georgia heat. 'Memo to self: wear shorts tomorrow' Louise thought to herself.

Packing away her things she said her goodbye to Joshua, and her and Mia headed for her car, they were renting a small apartment near to set while working on this to make travel easier.

Typing a text to James about her day and that she will ring Liam later on that evening she again got caught up and bumped straight into Norman again!

"You are making a habit of this huh?" Norman said with a laugh, stopping Louise from falling backwards from the force. Putting her phone in her bag "im actually a liability aren't i? " Louise replied annoyed with herself but smiling . "See you tomorrow!" She tapped him on the arm and said bye. Getting in the car with Mia she turned to her and said "im actually making an ass of myself around him"  Mia looked out the window at him "mmm, looks nice, i wouldnt complain!" Mia replied with a cheeky wink at Louise.

"Yea well i dont do actors no more" Louise replied rolling her eyes implying her relationship with James.

"Do?" Mia said being suggestive. Louise laughed and drove the car back to their apartment.
