Dad

"Liam?" Louise was confused as to why he would be here. And on his own? Swinging the door open and pulling him into a hug "why did dad say that?" She wanted answers and she wanted them now. "I dont know, he sent me out here" was all Liam could mumble.

Holding her hand to her head, "right. Let mom think.." Louise said while rambling to herself. Grabbing Liam's arm "come on bud lets go" she ushered him away.

Getting into the car and driving off Liam asks " mom...why does dad do this?" Louise was choked, all these years she thought Liam wouldnt twig as to why her and James were the way they were but being older now he has picked up on so much. "Baby, your dad is just difficult, you have to understand we were very young when we had you, its a very short time to grow up in." louise reasoned. Liam quickly shut her down "yea you were, dad wasnt, but he is the one who hates me!" Louise looked at Liam quickly, he actually knew a lot, he was been wrapped up in cotton wool too long. "He doesnt hate you, he hates me and is punishing you instead. and ill sort that i promise you." Placing a gentle hand on his shoulder she carried on "look i said to dad about you guys coming here and you live with both of us and go to one school. Would
You like that?" Liam stopped looking out the window and to Louise and smiled. "Im sorry i sort of dumped you on your dad for this job" Louise explained, "at the time your dad was so keen" She huffed.

Stopping the car and ushering Liam to get out, "I'm staying at a friends tonight as Mia is....busy" Louise cringed unsure of Liam's actual knowledge on certain things. "But he is cool, you will like him" she nodded, trying to convince herself that Norman would be okay with Liam turning up.

Knocking on his door, Louise felt herself sweating, what if this was too much for Norman? 'Then Norman doesnt deserves us' she thought to herself.

Opening the door, Norman was pleased to see Louise, "heeey" he said about to pull her into a hug but then noticing Liam, ushering them inside, "Liam is it? " he asks holding out his hand for a 'low five' Liam smiles, nods and hits Norman with the hardest 'low five' ever grinning, looking at Louise as she says "James dropped him to me, and Mia is using the flat tonight so if you dont mind....could we both stay?" Norman immediately nods, "Liam, my son's room is through there he has a playstation in there if you want to go in there?" Norman points to the bedroom in question, watching Liam walk in there he turns to Louise and mouths "what the?" At her with concern as to why James dropped him on a school night? Louise made sure Liam was out of ear shot and whispered "James clearly doesnt want to be a part of his life full time at the moment so ive decided ill have Liam and ill just have to figure something out with work---" Norman interrupted her "no you cant give it up!" He sort of yelled but not too loud, he didnt want to not see her everyday "plus you are amazing at what you do" he said stroking her cheek.

They could hear Liam gasping with delight at all of Mingus's games, this made Norman and Louise laugh. "I want to help you i really do, clearly living with Mia wont be a good idea now if you do have Liam, you...you could stay here? While you find somewhere for the pair of you. I can see if Mingus wants to come up tomorrow for the weekend...be nice for them to finally meet?" Norman was full of questions and ideas, it was certainly giving Louise reassurance. "I should go talk to Liam really. I owe him that" Louise sighed, letting go of Norman's hand, and going into the bedroom where Liam was, "can i talk to you?" Louise asked as he paused the games. "Im going to be honest with you here, i think your father is an ass, he is a very jealous man especially since i got this amazing opportunity. " she paused looking at Liam's reaction, he didnt seem mad at her been mean about his dad so she carried on "Norman is actually someone i really like and we have been spending a lot of time together, he is  mommy's  boyfriend, and i wasnt going to tell you incase it doesnt work out with us but given the circumstances tonight i cant keep this from you." she added, Liam took a while to say something "thats cool" Louise could tell he was overwhelmed by all of this but she wanted to tell him, its not his fault his father is pulling him from pillar to post.

Returning the living room, Norman had poured two glasses of wine, "think im going to need this" Louise said swigging from the glass quickly. "Should i phone James and say something? You know like what was he playing at?" She asked nervously. Norman shook his head "honest opinion? Leave it, i think he wants a reaction from you" Louise agreed.

She had never been in this situation before, she always had Liam while James did all the work, and she never got the chance to do her own thing and now being on something as big as The Walking Dead, James has obviously become jealous and annoyed at that now the tables have turned.

"Ill have to speak to the producers tomorrow, sort something out for Liam. He comes first. " she stated. Norman felt crushed.

"I'll help you. Just let me know what you need, please, i want to help, Louise i really care about you you know that." He placed a kiss on her lips.
