"MAX!!!!" She screams in happiness and hugs me, I groan softly.
"Babe...calm down I'm fine..." I kiss her lightly. "I'm ok really...I am" I smile at her trying to convince her.
She lays her head on my chest and lays there with me I hold her, and kiss her cheek.
She closes her eyes and falls asleep and I fall asleep next to her. Wow...yesterday was so stressful. I mean who the hell would beat up their own daughters wife! As Madeline slept I had her best friend Jacob stop by. He smiles and sits by me.
"Hey Max." He says and pats his hand on my knee. "You better?" I see flowers in his hand.
I nod and smile. "Yeah, those for me?"
He smiles back "yep" he hands me the flowers and I set them next to me. "Your so nice Jacob"
"I know" he sighs. "Funny how Madeline was talking about having kids and spending the rest of her life with you and then the next day you proposed."
"Really? She's really cute isn't she." I stroke her hair and kiss her forehead.
"Yeah..." He says softly "oh I should get going home to my little sister. Glad your feeling better Max" he smiles
"Thanks man." He leaves and Madeline wakes up soon to a doctor telling me I can go. I look over and smile at her.
I say "we're going home baby" she jumps up and holds my hand with the flowers, and we go home.
