Chapter 19 Truth, Heartbreaks and Wait What? YAY!!!

Flame Prince's P.O.V.

I was just sitting there next to her. Life couldn't get more perfect. I was with Fionna, watching a sunset and she was happy. This is all I need.

"Fionna? Do you want to go home?"

"Yeah. I think I should. Cake will be worried." She stood up so I stood up too. We turned around to start walking and then she grabbed my left hand and went close to me. She put her head on my shoulder. I could feel her happiness, and I'm pretty sure she could feel mine.

Marshall- OK that's it!! Jewlz you need to put an end to this!!

Fionna- I can't be happy?!  Geez!!

Me- Guys shut up your interrupting the chapter!!!!

Marshall- Too bad!! I'm fed up with this!! She should be with me!

Me- Marshall shut your trap or I'm changing this to a Fionna and Flame Prince love story!!!!

Marshall- You wouldn't!!!

Me- Wouldn't I?

Marceline244- She would..... So shut it and listen to her!!!

Marshall- Fine go on with the stupid chapter.

Me- Thank you Mr. Pouty Face.

We walked to her house. It took about 20 minutes but it was a wonderful 20 minutes because I was with my Fionna.

"Hey FP? Should we tell Cake?"

"Yeah. We should."

1 Freaking year later full of so much hatred, love that makes you wanna puke, and sad scenes.

"Cake I can't wait for the party tomorrow!!"

"I know and you will look more beautiful than usual!"

"Thank you Cake. Can I be alone for a minute though?"

"Of course." She walked out of the room and I just stood there. I started to think, what if I don't want to be with him. What if I go nuts?

"Oh Fionna you're worrying too much."

"Fionna." I heard a very familiar voice. One that hasn't spoken to me a lot since I got with FP.

"Marshall. I-" He surprised me. I thought I was alone.

"Hey Fi. So. I was invited. Why?" Why? He's my friend!

"Marshall you're my friend. Why wouldn't I?"

"Oh. Well.... I always thought you hated me and that was why you got with Flame Prince. Fionna. I've been in love with you from the start."

"Mar-"

"No, let me finish. I have been in love with you from the start, and every time I saw you with Flame Prince I died even more inside then I already was. Fionna. You were the only one that I ever truly loved and it felt like you just stomped all over my undead heart and broke it. Fionna. I want you to be happy. But I always wanted it to be with me. But I guess we don't always get what we want....."

"Marshall. I always loved you but you never talked to me. I'm sorry Marshall. Remember when we were in that hospital bed, that was the happiest moment of my life. I don't think anytime with Flame Prince would ever be like that moment. I love you Marshall. I really do." I turned away from him and walked to the door. "Marshall. Stay right here. I'll be right back." I walked out of the room and into one of the Candy Kingdom halls. I looked around. I needed to find FP. We haven't told anyone about us except for Cake but somehow Marshall knew. I needed to end it with FP. I did like him but I couldn't love Marshall while I loved FP. Because if I really like FP I wouldn't be in love with Marshall. Ugh so difficult to explain to people. I turned left down the hall when I saw FP.

"Hey FP! I need to talk to you." I ran to him. He wasn't that far away.

"Oh good timing. I needed to talk to you."

"OK at the same time we'll say what we need to."

FP-"Three."

Fionna-"Two."

Both- "ONE. I'm in love with someone else. I'm so sorry. Wait what?"

F-"Wait what? Dude. That was weird."

FP-"Yeah."

Both-"Sorry. We'll still be friends right? Yeah you didn't do anything wrong. We need to stop this."

F-"Sorry. So the party. Um. Yeah. See you there?"

FP-"Yep. See ya Fionna."

FP-"See ya FP."

I turned and walked away. That was so weird. Talking at the same time is just weird. I don't understand how we did that but OK. I turned into the room where I had been talking to Marshall. I looked around and guess what? He wasn't there anymore. I walked further into the room and sat on the little couch. I sighed. "Oh Marshall. I wanted to ask you to go to the party with me." I sighed again.

"Well you should've said something." He materialized right next to me.

"Holy glob Marshall! You can't do that to my heart. I'm fragile."  I put a hand over wear my heart was and I could feel my heart racing. All he did was his stupid smirk. I guess he was back to normal. The good old regular, weird, scary, sexy Marshall. "It's good to actually talk to you Marshall and tell you the truth." He reached over and grabbed my hand.

"Fionna. I want you to know I'm never letting you go."

"Ha ha. Thanks Marshall."

"I'm serious. You're mine, nobody will ever take you away from me." He looked at me seriously.

"Hey last time I heard that FP was talking and look where we are now. We broke up with each other at the same time." I said laughing.

"Look's like he made a promise he couldn't keep. I won't do that. I promise." He squeezed my hand and then I knew I hadn't made a bad choice. I made a wonderful choice by breaking up with FP because he led me to Marshall.

OK so I decided to put this up before Monday so I wouldn't get killed when I saw my friend. They know who I'm talking about. So hope you liked it. Hope you enjoyed it.

Marshall- I did.

Me-Oh so now you like the chapter?! Oh screw you. I'm not going to sit here trying to please you. I'm going to write what I want.

Oh and that goes for the readers. I will write what I want to happen. I'll please you I promise but I'm still going to screw with your emotions you can't change that.   ^_^
